k <br />APPLICATION: POLICE AUXILIARY SCHOOL PATROL <br />An application from Mrs. Jean Marcelia Diedrich for the Police Auxiliary <br />School Patrol was accepted and ordered placed on file. <br />ELECTRICAL & HEATING INSPECTION: ATTEND CONVENTION <br />Permission was granted to Lee H. Klingebiel, Electrical Inspector, to <br />attend the International Association of Electrical Inspectors Convention <br />in Indianapolis, Indiana on February 2, 3 and 4th, 1966. <br />Mr. Klingebiel advised the Board that there are funds in the budget for <br />this Convention. <br />PETITION: STREET LIGHT ( COUNCILMAN GEIB� <br />A Petition signed by Councilman Richard G. Geband two other residents <br />on Rainbow Drive requested the installation of a street light on Rainbow <br />Dk.; from Viking Street across from 3827 Rainbow Drive. <br />The Petition was referred to the Electrical Department for investigation <br />and recommendation. <br />REQUEST: STREET LIGHT H.W. GOODHEW ) <br />A letter requesting the installation of street lighting in the 100 block <br />U of Franklin Place from members of the Indiana Club was submitted to the <br />C> Board by Mr. Howard R. Goodhew. <br />Mr. Goodhew advised the Board that the Indiana Club has recently acquired <br />a parking lot in this block which they plan to illuminate, in rear of lot. <br />However, since street lighting is non-existent at present between the loam <br />and the corner of Franklin and Jefferson Blvd., the members believe that <br />additional lighting should be considered because of the many evening <br />functions held at the Club by members and as a community facility. <br />The request was referred to the Electrical Department for investigation <br />and recommendation. <br />STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORTS <br />Street Light Outage Reports were accepted and ordered placed on file. <br />POLICE DEPARTMENT: ANNUAL REPORT <br />An Annual Report for the year 1965 from the Police Department was accepted <br />and ordered placed on file. <br />OPENING BIDS: SUB -STANDARD DIVISION ( DEMOLITION ) <br />Comes now Mr. Richard Liszewski, Sub -Standard Division Director, with <br />sealed bids for demolition of the follcoving properties: <br />For property located at 1514 Swygert, owned by George Petoe. <br />Thomas Palmer <br />55299 Sundown <br />South Bend, Ind. <br />Non -Collusion affidavit not signed. Bid rejected. <br />Warner Wrecking Company <br />Elkhart, Ind. <br />Non -Collusion Affidavit signed. <br />Alt. 1 $175.00 including water shut-off fee <br />Alt. 2 Same. <br />
