113 <br />Do Not Pass signs and posts on Portage Avenue. <br />2 - 2 Hour Parking Limit signs on east side of Dundee Street. <br />Stop signs on Elliott at Elwood, N.W. and S.E. corners. <br />Stop Sign on Bulla at Elmer, S.W. corner. Also a Yield sign on Bulla <br />at Elmer, N.E. corner. <br />Stop sign on Calhoun at Elliott, N.E. and S.W. corners. <br />30 Minute Parking signs and replace 2 Hour w/30.Minute Parking at the <br />following places: <br />a. Replace 2 Hour Parking w/ 30 Minute Parking sign at <br />1145 Mishawaka Avenue <br />b. Install a 30 Minute Parking sign at 1139 Mishawaka Ave. <br />c. Install a 30 Minute Parking sign equally spaced between <br />#1 and #4,(between 1139 and 1145 Mishawaka Avenue). <br />Install 50 Minute Parking 9 A.M. - 10 P.M.at: <br />a. 15 Minute Parking next to 1139 Mishawaka Ave. <br />b. Replace the Parallel Parking Only sign w/15 Minute <br />Parking sign at 1125 Mishawaka Ave., Sunnymede Cleaners. <br />c. 15 Minute Parking sign at 1117 Mishawaka Ave. <br />TRAFFIC ENGINEER: ( STOP SIGNS AT EWING & FELLOWS ) <br />Mr. Clem Hazinski, Traffic Director, submitted a recommendation that <br />the 4-way stop be removed at Ewing and Fellows Street. This intersection <br />has been signalized with a semi -actuated system including "walk -wait" <br />lights which axe pedestrian actuated by push button. <br />Approval has been granted previously by the Board and Mr. Hazinski <br />requested that effective operation date be entered in the Record as <br />October 25, 1965. <br />The Board approved the request of Mr. Hazinski as submitted. <br />TRAFFIC ENGINEER: ( STOP SIGNS AT WASHINGTON & FALCON ) <br />Clem Hazinski, Traffic Director, submitted a report as the result of <br />studies made at the intersection of Washington and Falcon Street which <br />indicates that sufficient warrants do not exist for a way stop. <br />Mr. Hazinski recommended that the stop signs on Wash3.rgton be removed <br />and Falcon Street posted with "Cross Traffic does not Stop" sign. <br />The Board approved the recommendation of Nir. Hazinski. <br />PETITION: STREET LIGHTS ( 26TH STREET ) <br />A Petition from Irs. Erna Asher of 413 S. 26th Street, and others, for <br />the installation of street lights in the blocks of 26th Street between <br />East Jefferson and the Grand Trunk Railroad tracks was submitted to <br />theBoard, examined and referred to the Electrical Department for <br />investigation and recommendation. <br />STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORTS <br />Street Light Outage Reports were accepted and ordered placed on file. <br />SPECIAL POLICE BOND <br />A renewal of a Special Police Bond for Special Police officer Joseph <br />L. Schubert was approved and ordered placed on file. <br />SPECIAL POLICE CCMIISSION <br />A Special Police Commission for Joseph C. Takach, an employee of the <br />Electrical Inspeetion Department of the City of South Bend was approved <br />and ordered placed on file. No Speeial Police Bond is required since <br />Mr. Takach is alreadya bonded <br />
