112 <br />October 25, �965 <br />A regular meeting of the Board of Public Safety was held on Monday, <br />October 25, 1965 at 10:00 A.M. All members were present. Minites <br />of the last regular meeting were read and approved. Vouchers were <br />approved and ordered paid to -the various suppliers. <br />BUILDING DEPARTMENT - SUB -STANDARD DIVISION• HEARINGS <br />1,1r. Richard Liszewski appeared before the Board to advise the Board <br />that a garage on property located at 2429 Kenwood, owned by Willie J. <br />Wright should be demolished. <br />The Board was also advised that Mr. Wright intends to tear dorm the <br />garage and requested a continuance of two weeks to accomplish this. <br />Permission granted and case continued for two weeks, with the <br />stipulation that Mr. Liszewski check the premises and make a progress <br />report to the Board at the end of the two week period, at which time <br />the garage should be demolished, as promised. <br />With reference to property located at 2125 Merry Avenue, owned by <br />Henry and Constance Froning, Mr. Liszewski advised the Board that <br />the property is vacant and open. <br />The owners advised the Board that this property had been sold on land <br />contract but since payments were not continued, had been returned to <br />them. They have no funds to make the repairs necessary and want the <br />structure demolished. <br />The Board granted permission to advertise for bids for demolition. <br />The Board also granted permission to Mr. Liszewski to advertise for <br />bids for demolition for pro' rty located at 1511 Listen Street, owned <br />by Ivory Kuntz. The building is vacant and open. <br />Mr. Liszewski reported that Judge Kopec had requested 15 days continuance <br />with reference to property in an estate of Victor & Bessie DeFrees, <br />located at 102 N. Adams Street. <br />Permission granted. <br />Mr. Liszewski requested permission to advertise for bids for demolition <br />of property now open and vacant, owned CyElizabeth Kovacs, located <br />at 1213 King Street. <br />Permission granted. <br />Permission was also granted to Mr. Liszewski to advertise for bids for <br />demolition of property now open and vacant, located at 911 High Street. <br />With reference to property owned by Dale Cornish, located at 50$z <br />Blaine Avenue, Mr. Liszewski reported that this structure will be <br />vacated on this date and requested permission to post property as sub- <br />standard and stipulate that property must remain vacant until repaired. <br />Permission granted. <br />TRAFFIC ENGINEER: INSTALLATIONS <br />The Board approved the following installations of traffic signs: <br />No Parking in Alley sign across the alley from 911 Marietta, above <br />N.E. sign. <br />
