I to Mr. Liszewski further advised the Board that this Estate was formerly managed by Judge Norman Kopec. The Board rdquested Mr. Liszewski to contact Judge Kopec and learn who is now managing this Estate so that he may contact him to ascertain what is to be done with this property. With reference to property owned by the Federal National Mortage Association of Chicago, Illinois and situated at 105-107 O'Brien Street, Mr. Liszewski requested permission to advert se for bids for demolition. The building is presently posted as sub -standard. Permission granted. TRAFFIC ENGINEER: INSTALLATIONS The following installations of traffic signs were approved by the Board: Stop sign and posts on Ellsworth at Washington, N.W. and S.E. corners'. Stop sign and post on Dorwood at Oakridge, S.W. corner. Stop sign and posts on H61iday Drive at Colfax, S.E. corner, and on Swanson Circle E., N.W. corner. Stop sign on Varsity at Wilson, S.E. corner Stop sign and post on Varsity Drive at Colfax, S.E. corner and on Swanson Circle at Colfax, N.W. corner. Yield sign on Varsity at Wilson, N.W. corner. Stop sign on Huron at Albert, N.E.azd S.W. corners. Stop sign and post on Louise at North Side Blvd., N.W. corner. Stop sign on Greenlawn at North Side Blvd., N.W. corner. Relocate the 30 Minute Parking 6-6 sign from E.P. L. 1422 Mishawaka Ave. to W.P. L. 1422 Mishawaka Avenue. PETITION: STREET LIGHT ( HOBBICK-KUESPERT ELECTRIC, INC ) A Petition for a street light to be installed at the rear of 525 S. Eddy Street on Parry Street was submitted by Carl A. Kuespert, President of the Hobbick-Kuespert Electric, Inc., and others. The Petition was referred to Eugene Radecki, Superintendent of the Electrical Department for investigation and recommendation. POLICE DEPARTMENT'' APPOINTMENTS ( WILSON & COFFMAN ) The Board of Public Safety having received the recommendation of Irvin C. Hampton, Chief of the South Bend Police Department for appointment to the Police Department of Richard Keith Wilson and Cloyde F. Coffman, Jr., and the Board having been advised on the premises now appoints Richard Keith Wilson and Cloyde F. Coffman, Jr., as members of the Police Department, effective this date, subject to the succetsful-_.- completion of the probationary period provided for by the Rules and Regulations of the Police Pension Fund. SPECIAL POLICE BOND ( CONTINUATION CER ) The Board approved a Continuation Certificate for Special Police Bond of Alie Ahmen JoJo, Sr. who is presently employed,as a special police officer for various business establishments in the area. SPECIAL POLICE CCWISSION The Board approved a Special Police Commission for Sylvester S. Szymarek, employed by Pinkerton's Detective Agency, pending receipt of Bond. POLICE DEPARDENT REPORT A monthly report for the month of September, 1965 from_ the Police Department was accepted and ordered placed on file.
