0 <br />SPECIAL POLICE CCflMUSSIONS AND BONDS <br />The Board approved Special Police Commissions and Bonds for Terrance <br />F. Wozniak and Stanley M. Kaniecki, employees of A.D.T. and ordered <br />same placed on file. <br />The Board also approved Continuation Certificates for Special. Police <br />Bonds for Louis Horvath and Edward Radecki, employees of Associates <br />Investment Company, and ordered same placed on file. <br />POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORT <br />A Police Department Report for the month of May, 1965 was accepted <br />and ordered placed on file. <br />TRAFFIC ENGINEER: INSTA4A.TIONS <br />The Board approved the following installations upon the recommendation <br />of the Traffic Department: <br />Stop? Sign - installed on Brockmede at Ironwood Drive, (with post). <br />Stop Sign - installed (with post) on Altgeld at Ironwood Drive. <br />TEMPORARY REMOVAL: PARKIN METERS <br />Following the recommendation of Clem Hazinski, Traffic Director, the <br />Board approved the following temporary removals of Parking Meters: <br />Because of the unloading of material along the temporary walkway in the <br />100 block of W. Wayne Street at construction site of parking ramp which <br />restricts the flow of traffic during peak periods, Mr. Hazinski <br />recommended as follows - <br />The first meter east of Main STreet on south side of Wayne Street <br />be removed to provide proper turning movements from Main STreet. <br />Remaining five meters on south side of Wayne Street between Main and <br />the first alley east be posted to prohibit parking between 3:00 <br />P.M. and 6:00 P.M. <br />First two meters on east side of Main Street south of Wayne be <br />changed to 12 minute time limit to provide for turn over of parking <br />space for Public Library patrons. Present limit is one hour. <br />The above changes will be in effect until the completion of the new <br />parking ramp at Wayne and Main Streets. <br />FIRE DEPARTMENT: SUSPENSION ( E. GADACZ ,) <br />Fire Chief McHenry submitted a file consisting of reports from the Fire <br />Chief and other members of the Fire Department with reference to the <br />suspension of Fireman Edmund Gadacz on June 16, 1965 at 9:27 P.M. for <br />violation of the Rules and Regulations of the Fire Department. <br />The documents were accepted and ordered placed on file. <br />REQUEST: STREET LIGHTS <br />A request from Genevieve A. Long for a street light in front of 1101 <br />S. Ironwood Drive and also a light at the alley intersection behind <br />this property, was submitted to the Board and referred to the Electrical <br />Department for investigation and recommendation. <br />STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORTS <br />Street Light Outage Reports were accepted and ordered placed on file. <br />
