M <br />11 <br />The bid was awarded to Chas. Clough. <br />-Mir. Liszewski submitted sealed bid for demolition of property located <br />at 190`7 S. Lafayette Boulevard. <br />The following bid was the only '.:bid,- ' cda zr�d .and :teas rejected. Non - <br />Collusion Affidavit vas not signed. <br />B & 0 Building Wreckin-a Co. <br />17715 Auten Road <br />South Bend, Ind. <br />1,1r. Liszewski was directed to readvertise for demolition of this <br />property. <br />I <br />APPROVAL: PEJITIONS FOR STREET LIGHTS <br />Following the recommendation of Eugene Radecki, Electrical Department <br />Superintendent, the following street light installations were approved: <br />1. 1 - 4000 lumen light at 717 E. 1,11enger Street & Hoffman Court, <br />one-half block off High Street. <br />2. 1 - 4000 lumen light at 1222 Marietta Street, one-half block <br />north of Pennsylvania. <br />STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORTS <br />Street Light Outage Reports were accepted and ordered placed on file. <br />INSTALLATIONS; TRAFFIC SIGNS <br />Following the recommendation of Clem Hazinski, Traffic Engineer, the <br />following installations were approved: <br />3 - No Parking This Side signs & Posts an west side of 400 S. <br />F'ellows. <br />1 - Across from 412 <br />2 - Halfway between #1 and 1J1'3 <br />3 - Across from 432 at end of Yellow Zane. <br />RE; TRAFFIC LIGHTS �MISHAWAKA & LOGAN -) <br />A letter from C. Duev-raine Hawblitzel, Vocational Rehabilitation <br />Division, Department of Public Instruction, State of Indiana,was <br />submitted to the Board. <br />Ib% Haviblitzel suggested that the traffic lights at the intersection <br />of Tdishawakza Avenue and Logan Street be turned 45 degrees tovaxd the <br />north, so that motorists would have 'a direct view of the color condition <br />of the light vihen the sun is in the west so that they may determine the <br />color of the lights at a safe distance. <br />Mx. Ha-viblitzel claimed that at the present time, it is difficult to <br />determine the color of the lights. <br />The letter was referred to the Engineering Department, Traffic Director, <br />for investigation_ and report. <br />"i7EIGHTS &- IvEASURES: TIONTHLY REPORT <br />A Report for the month of February, 1965 from the Department of Weights <br />ec 1.1casures was accepted and ordered placed on file. <br />SPECIAL POLICE BOND � L.
