Parkovash: Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously <br />carried, Mr. Adamson was instructed to have an investigation made <br />of the puilding at this address. <br />301 Hydraulic Avenue: Richard Muessel, the owner, appeared: nd Was <br />heard by ,the Board. It was moved, seconded and unanimously carried <br />that the Building Commissi6ner be directed to have a survey made to <br />determine whether or not this structure is a public hazard. <br />REQUEST FOR OWNERS OF SUB -STANDARD PROPERTIES TO APPEAR BEFORE THE <br />BOARD TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 24, 1970 <br />Upon motion made, seconded <br />and unanimously carried, the Board <br />approved the request for ewners of the following properties to <br />appear before the Board on <br />February 24, 1970 to show cause, if <br />they have, why such properties should not be demolished: <br />Owners: <br />2123 W. Jackson <br />Joseph and Sally Lee <br />any <br />And the Clerk of the Board is directed to _so notify said. owners "by <br />certified mail. <br />ASSESSMENT ROLL HEARING -- VACATION RES. NO. 3306 -- Department <br />of Redevelopment <br />This being the date set, hearing was held on Assessment Roll filed <br />January 12, 1970, being the vacation of certain portions of Jeffer- <br />son Street in LaSalle Park. Proofs of publication in the South <br />Bend Tribune and the Tri-County News on Jan. 16, Jan. 23 and <br />Jan. 30, 1970 were examined and found sufficient. <br />No remonstrators having appeared and no written remonstrances having <br />been received, the motion was made, seconded and unanimously carried <br />to approve the assessment roll as filed, and the vacation resolu- <br />tion was in all things confirmed, and the proceedings declared <br />closed and the property vacated. <br />COMMUNICrAT'ION FROM MATHEWS, PURUCKER & ASSOCIATES, INC. <br />The communication was filed with the Board, and it was moved, <br />seconded and unanimously carried that the firm of Mathews, Purucker <br />& Assoc., Inc. be requested to make a preliminary estimate of the <br />cost of providing the Morris Civic Auditorium and Uity Water Works <br />Building with heating and cooling systems. The cost of this -prelim <br />nary=-.(s_timate is to be charged to Cumulative Capital Improvement <br />Fund. <br />COMMUNICATION FROM INDIANA CRIMINAL JUSTICE COMMISSION regarding <br />In -Kind contribution of $1800.00 annually was filed with the Board. <br />IN -KIND RENTAL VOUCHERS from ACTION, INC. for February, 1970 for <br />Fire Stations #5 and #7 was filed with the Board. <br />LEASE AGREEMENT - Ben Feferman Motor Sales Corp. <br />It was moved, seconded and unanimously carried that the Board enter <br />into the lease agreement with Ben Feferman Motor Sales Corp. for <br />the 1970 Oldsmobile 98, 4-Door Sedan. The agreement was duly <br />signed by members of the Board and filed with the Board. <br />1 <br />
