12/29/69 <br />1 <br />REQUEST FOR PERMISSION TO OPERATE PARKING LOT - ANCIENT ACCEPTED SCOTTISH <br />RITE <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board approved the request of <br />Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, Masonic Temple, 427 N. Main <br />Street, South Bend, Indiana, by Ira J. Martz, Secretary and Business Manager, <br />for permission to operate Lot No. 202 at 415 N. Main Street, South Bend, <br />Indiana, owned by the Board of Trustees of South Bend'Lodge of Perfection <br />and/or Ancient Accepted Scottish'Rite, Valley of South Bend. Said lot <br />parks 45 cars, at the rate of 25� per day until 6:00 P.M., 25� after 6:00 <br />P.M.; 50� for 24 hours, or $5.50 per month,'with in and out privileges. <br />Certificate of liability insurance to 5/27/71 was provided, and the Clerk <br />was directed to deliver same to the office of the City Controller for filing. <br />LEASE - CIVIC AUDITORIUM <br />Copy of lease of Morris Civic Auditorium with Whirlpool Corporation for <br />"Musical presentation and appliance demonstration" on December 10, 1969 <br />was reviewed and ordered filed. <br />TRAFFIC REGULATION APPROVED - CAROLINE AT EWING <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board approved the recommendation <br />of the Traffic Director for the installation of stop signs on Caroline Street <br />at Ewing Avenue. <br />REQUEST FOR REVIEW OF ORDINANCE COVERING LICENSING OF TAXICABS <br />At the request of the Clerk of the Board, it was moved, seconded and carried <br />that the ordinance covering the licensing of taxicabs be referred to the City <br />Controller and the Legal Department for review and revision for presentation <br />to the Common Council. <br />CONTRACTORS' BONDS <br />The Board approved and ordered filed certificates continuing contractors' <br />bonds as follows: <br />Roseland Construction Company - to 1/1/71 <br />Steve P. Ross - to 1/1/71 <br />Frank Trimboli - to 1/1/71 <br />B & G Construction Company - to 1/1/71 <br />EXCAVATION BONDS <br />The Board approved and ordered filed certificates continuing the following <br />excavation bonds: <br />B & G Construction Co. - to 1/1/71 <br />William Cinal - to 1/1/71 <br />Henry DeWulf - to 1/1/71 <br />Raymond F.
