Bid being: <br />Item #3 - -16 cubic yard Leach Packmaster $16,860.00 <br />There being no further bids, upon motion made, seconded and carried, the bids <br />were referred to the City Engineer and Richard Gartner, Street Commissioner, <br />for review and recommendation to the Board. <br />RECOMMENDATION FOR DISMISSAL FROM FIRE DEPARTMENT - STEPHEN DANIELOWICZ <br />Fireman Stephen Danielowicz III having been suspended from the Fire Department <br />on October.24, 1969, for a period of 60 days for violation of Article IX, Section <br />3, of the General Rules and Regulations of the Fire Department and not having <br />reported back for duty at the end of the 60 day period on December 22, 1969, the <br />matter was referred to the Legal Department for the preparation of charges . <br />for dismissal as recommenddd by Fire Chief Joseph L._Zurat. <br />PROMOTIONS - POLICE DEPARTMENT <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board approved the promotion of <br />the following police officers to the rank -of -sergeant, effective January 1, <br />1970, as recommended by Chief of Police Loren M. Bussert for the award of contract for the voice tape <br />recording -reporting system to International Butiness Machines at $3,297.97, <br />
