31 . <br />November 17, 1969 <br />&tdgUlar meeting of the Board.oF Public Works and Safety convened at 9:30 A.M. <br />on November 17, 1969, with all members present. The minutes of the previous. <br />meeting were reviewed and approved. <br />OPEN BIDS - GASOLINE AND FUEL OIL <br />This being the date set for receiving bids for gasoline and fuel oil for the <br />period January 1, 1970 through June 30, 1970, as follows: <br />Item #1 - 300,000 gallons regular gasoline, more or less, (approximately <br />240,000 gallons to one location in bulk transport; balance by <br />tank truck delivery). <br />Item #2 - 130,000 gallons, more or less, diesel fuel #1 or oil #2 <br />.(about 50% heating purpose and 50% diesel fuel). <br />the Clerk tendered proofs of publication in the South Bend Tribune and the Tri <br />County News on November 7 and November 14, 1969, which were read and found to <br />be sufficient. Bids were opened as follows: <br />American Oil Company, P. 0. Box 2858, Detroit, Michigan.
