11/3/69 STREET LIGHTS APPROVED - AREA BOUNDED BY LINCOLNWAY EAST IRONWOOD EWING AND TWYCKENHAM Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the Board approved the recommendation of the Traffic Engineering Department for the following street lighting in the area bounded by Lincolnway East Ironwood, Ewing and Twyckenham: Install 39 7000L Remove 3 6000L Install 32 7000L Remove 36 4000L Install 6 20,000L Remove 3 2500L Remove l 1000L at a cost to the City of $178.15. FLOOD LIGHTS APPROVED - FEFERMAN MOTOR SALES CORPORATION Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the Board approved the recommendation 6f the Traffic Engineering Department for Feferman Motor' Sales Corporation to install three flood lights on the sidewalk in front of C 602 S. Michigan Street and one on the South Street side at this address, providing �' the lights do not interfere with room and vision for pedestrians. REMOVAL OF PARKING METERS ON W. COLFAX - APPROVED Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the Board approved the recommendation of the Traffic Director to remove parking meters #11 through #21 on the north side of the 100 block of West Colfax Avenue because of erecting a pedestrian shed on the south side of Colfax Avenue. REMOVAL OF PARKING METERS ON N. MAIN STREET - APPROVED Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the Board approved the- recomm6ndation of the Traffic Director to remove parking meters #18 through #30 on the east side of the 100 block of N. Main Street because of con- struction of the municipal parking garage at the corner of Main and Colfax. ONE-WAY TRAFFIC DENIED - RIVERSIDE BETWEEN NAVARRE AND MARION Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the Board approved the recommendation of the Traffic Director to deny one way traffic on Riverside between Navarre and Marion, as requested by C. W. Scholl on September 22, 1969, as not being warranted at the present time. CONTRACTORS' BONDS The following contractors' bonds were approved and ordered filed: Marathon Oil Company - to 12/ 1/70 Van Ooteghem & Son - to 10/17/70 EXCAVATION BONDS The following excavation bonds were approved and ordered filed: Louis M. Seago - to 1/14/70 R. J. Smith Constr.Co- to 10/ 5/70 STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORTS - for the period 10/20/69 to 10/11/69 were ordered filed.
