11/3/69 <br />STREET LIGHTS APPROVED - AREA BOUNDED BY LINCOLNWAY EAST IRONWOOD EWING <br />AND TWYCKENHAM <br />Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the Board approved the <br />recommendation of the Traffic Engineering Department for the following <br />street lighting in the area bounded by Lincolnway East Ironwood, Ewing and <br />Twyckenham: <br />Install 39 7000L Remove 3 6000L <br />Install 32 7000L Remove 36 4000L <br />Install 6 20,000L Remove 3 2500L <br />Remove l 1000L <br />at a cost to the City of $178.15. <br />FLOOD LIGHTS APPROVED - FEFERMAN MOTOR SALES CORPORATION <br />Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the Board approved the <br />recommendation 6f the Traffic Engineering Department for Feferman Motor' <br />Sales Corporation to install three flood lights on the sidewalk in front of <br />C <br />602 S. Michigan Street and one on the South Street side at this address, providing <br />�' <br />the lights do not interfere with room and vision for pedestrians. <br />REMOVAL OF PARKING METERS ON W. COLFAX - APPROVED <br />Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the Board approved the <br />recommendation of the Traffic Director to remove parking meters #11 through <br />#21 on the north side of the 100 block of West Colfax Avenue because of <br />erecting a pedestrian shed on the south side of Colfax Avenue. <br />REMOVAL OF PARKING METERS ON N. MAIN STREET - APPROVED <br />Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the Board approved the- <br />recomm6ndation of the Traffic Director to remove parking meters #18 through <br />#30 on the east side of the 100 block of N. Main Street because of con- <br />struction of the municipal parking garage at the corner of Main and Colfax. <br />ONE-WAY TRAFFIC DENIED - RIVERSIDE BETWEEN NAVARRE AND MARION <br />Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the Board approved the <br />recommendation of the Traffic Director to deny one way traffic on Riverside <br />between Navarre and Marion, as requested by C. W. Scholl on September 22, <br />1969, as not being warranted at the present time. <br />CONTRACTORS' BONDS <br />The following contractors' bonds were approved and ordered filed: <br />Marathon Oil Company - to 12/ 1/70 <br />Van Ooteghem & Son - to 10/17/70 <br />EXCAVATION BONDS <br />The following excavation bonds were approved and ordered filed: <br />Louis M. Seago - to 1/14/70 <br />R. J.
