<br />Clyde E. Williams & Associates, Inc., consulting engineers, files with the Board
<br />its certificate of completion of the paving of Sancome Avenue, from LaPorte
<br />Avenue to Lincolnway West in accordance with the plans and specifications therefor.
<br />And the City Engineer files with the Board an assessment roll, with the names
<br />of the owners and a description of the property subject to be assessed, with
<br />the amount of the prima facie assessment in the -total sum of $4,455.09.
<br />And the Board adopts a resolution accepting said assessment roll, and sets
<br />9:30 A.M., on November 17, 1969, as the time when the owners of such real estate

<br />REQUEST TO BLOCK MAIN STREET IN FRONT OF COURT HOUSE NOVEMBER 11, 1969
<br />Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the Board approved the re-
<br />quest of Harold Conery, Chairman , Veterans Day Observance Committee, 1313
<br />Portage -Avenue, South Bend, Indiana, to block Main Street in front of the
<br />Court House from 10:45 A.M. to 11:45 A.M. during a memorial service November
<br />11, 1969, upon approval of the Traffic Engineer.
<br />COMPLAINT of traffic blockage - W. WASHINGTON AND CHAPIN STREETS
<br />Complaint of the West Washington Association, 1007 W. Colfax Avenue, South Bend,
<br />Indiana, by Miss Pat Kyle, President and William P. Dillon, Secretary,
<br />concerning the stopping of automobiles in traffic lanes on West Washington and
<br />Chapin Streets for the purpose of talking to pedestrians or other occupants
<br />of cars was referred to the Police Department for investigation.
<br />SPECIAL POLICE OFFICERS' BOND - HOUSING AUTHORITY OF SOUTH BEND
<br />Special police officers' bond on behalf of Taffie J. Mallard and John Keyes
<br />employed by the Housing Authority of the City of South Bend, expiring 10/l/70,
<br />was approved by the Board and ordered filed.

<br />Certificate evidencing workmen's compensation and comprehensive insurance
