10/20/69 SSMENT ROLL FILED - IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 3287 (AMENDED) - T BOULEVARD Clyde E. Williams and Associates, Inc., consulting engineers, file with the Board certificate of completion of the paving of ?fast:7.Bmu1eyafd1rom Johnson Street, by constructing a Class C, Type IV pavement in accordance with the plans and specifications therefor. And the City Engineer files with the Board an assessment roll, with bhe names of the owners and a description of the property subject to be assessed, with the amount of the prima facie assessment in the total sum of $9,391.65. And the Board adopts a resolution accepting said assessment roll, and sets 9:30 A.M., on November 10, 1969, as the time for hearing remonstrances and when the owners of such real estate may attend in person or by representative and be heard. And the Clerk is directed to give notice of such hearing by publication in the South Bend Tribune and the Tri County News on October 24 and October 31, 1969. REQUEST FOR PERMISSION TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR MOTOR VEHICLES The request of the City Engineer to advertise for bids for motor vehicles as follows: Group I - 28 4-door sedans for Police Department. Group II - 15 2-door or 4-door sedans for Police Department. Group III - 4 :4-door station wagons for Police Department. Group IV - 4 4-door sedans Group V - 1 4-door sedan for Building Department. Group VI - 3 2-door or 4-door sedans for Building Department. Group VII - 3 2-door or 4-door sedans for Water Works Group Vill - 3 4-door sedans for Fire Department Group IX - 1 4-door station wagon for Department of Redevelopment Group X - 1 4-door sedan for Engineering Department Group XI - 1 4-door sedan for Water Works was approved, and the Clerk was directed to advertise by publication in the South Bend Tribune and the Tri County News on October 24 and October 31, 1969. TOPSFIELD DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION - PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS APPROVED Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the Board approved plans for Division A, street construction, and Division B, sanitary and storm sewer construction, for Topsfield Third Addition. LEASES - MORRIS CIVIC AUDITORIUM Copy of lease of Bethel College Music Lecture Series for the United States Marine Band on October 11, 1969, and copy of lease with "Up With People," Inc., for Up With People Music on October 15, 1969, were reviewed and ordered filed. REQUEST TO ATTEND INSPECTORS' MEETING - WEIGHTS & MEASURES DEPARTMENT Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the Board approved the re- quest of Bert Cichowicz, City Sealer, to attend the 32nd annual fall meeting of the Indiana Association of Inspectors of Weights and Measures at Richmond, Indiana, October 22, 23 and 243, 1969. FOUR-WAY STOP APPROVED - FORD AND SHERIDAN Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the Board approved the recommendation of the Traffic Engineering Department to install a four-way stop at Ford and Sheridan Streets. STREET LIGHTING APPROVED - AREA OF WESTERN, OLIVE, FORE & KALEY Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the Board approved the recommendation of the Traffic Engineering Department for street lighting in the area of Western, Olive, Ford and Kaley Streets, as follows: Replace 11 4000L INC OH WP with 7000L MV OH WP Install - 11 OOOL MV OH WP Remove - 5 4000L INC OH WP at a cost to the City of $38.15 per month.
