Michigan Street, South Bend, <br />Indiana,,for permission to erect three poles with attached flood lights <br />on.Michigan Street and one anig on South Street, was referred to Traffic <br />Engineering for study and recommendation to the Board. <br />., :-C,LYDE E. W I LL IAMS I& ASSOCIATES, INC. - BARRETT LAW PROPOSAL <br />Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the Board approved <br />the proposal of Clyde E. Williams & Associates, Inc., under date of <br />October 1, 1969, for Barrett Law projects as set out in said proposal. <br />REQUEST TO ATTEND SEMINAR -:;;;TRAFFIC ENGINEERING <br />Upon motion made, seconded and unanimous y carried, the Board approved the <br />request of Traffic Engineer Clem F. Hazinski for Ralph Wadzinski, Assistant <br />Traffic Engineer, and George Ladewski, Signal Technician, to attend a <br />training seminar at Indianapolis, Indiana, October 7-9, 1969. <br />STREET LIGHTS APPROVED <br />Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the Board approved <br />the recommendation of the Traffic Engineering Department for the relighting <br />of the area bounded by Olive, Lathrop, Portage and Hamilton as follows: <br />Replace - 33 4000L INC with 7000L MV <br />Install - 26 7000L MV <br />Remove - 2 4000L INC <br />at an increase in cost of $122.00 per month. <br />and for the relighting of Olive Street to Lincolnway West, north from <br />Roger Street, as follows: <br />Install - 11. 20,000L MV OH WP <br />Remove - 2 4,000L INC OH WP <br />l 6,000L INC OH WP <br />1 7,000L MV OH WP <br />at an increase in cost of $46.70 per month. <br />RELEASE OF BOND #988224 - KLOSE BROTHERS CONTRACTORS, INC. <br />The motion was made, seconded and unanimously carried that Klose Brothers <br />Contractors, Inc., and Hawkeye-Security Insurance Company be released from <br />any liability for anything which may occur on or after October 10, 1969 <br />under a bond executed October 10, 1966 and approved by the Board October 17, <br />1966. <br />CONTRACTORS' BONDS <br />The following contractors' bonds were approved by the Board and ordered <br />filed: On behalf of Norb Rzepnicki - to 10/2/70; and Ten-M Builders, Midland, <br />Michigan - to 8/29/70. <br />EXCAVATION BOND <br />Certificate continuing excavation bond on behalf of 0. J. Shoemaker, Inc., <br />to 12/31/69 was approved by the Board and ordered filed. <br />STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORTS <br />Street light outage reports for the period 9/22/69 to 10/3/69 were ordered <br />filed. <br />
