7/21/69 And =the i'Board, having examined all bids received June 30, 1969, for such tmptdvement and being duly advised, upon motion made, seconded and unani- mousfy carried;-"awiardt dontract to Bituminous Materials Company, Inc., for the paving of said Street with Class C, Type IV pavement on its low bid of $12,679.50. And said Company is hereby given notice to proceed with such improvement. ENGINEER'S RECOMMENDATION PRELIMINARY ORDER IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO, 3287 - PRAST BOULEVARD For the improvement of Prast Boulevard, from Johnson Street to Huey Street, by constructing a Class C pavement with curb repair. Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the Board approves the recommendation of Clyde E. Williams &. Associates, Inc., consulting engineers, and hereby orders that said street be paved with Class C, Type III -A pavement. REQUEST LEAVE FOR MILITARY DUTY- RALPH WADZINSKI, TRAFFIC ENGINEERING Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the Board approved the Q request of Ralph Wadzinski, Traffic Engineering, for leave for Military Duty August 2, to August 17, 1969. il~ PETITION FOR STREET LIGHTS AND TRAFFIC REGULATION - E. OHIO STREET - APPROVED Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the Board approved the recommendation of the Traffic Director for the following, in the 500 and 600 block of E. Ohio Street: 1. To increase the existing 4000 INC light to 7000'_Lumen MV. 2. Install three 7000 MV OH WP lights, two mid -blocks and one intersection. 3. To prohibit parking on the north side of Ohio Street, from Marietta to a point at the west property line of 615 Ohio Street. STREET::-'L'1GHTS APRROVED Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the Board approved the recommendations of the Traffic Director for the following: Carlisle and Orange. To increase existing light from 4000L INC to 7000L MV. 3600 Lilac Road. To increase the existing light from 4000L INC to 7000L MV on Lilac and Southlea Drive. Install 3 additional 7000L MV on Lilac Road at 250 feet intervals. 100 E. Chippewa. Install 7000L MV OH on a new wood pole. 800-900 E. Dayton. Install a 7000L MV OH WP street light at the mid block alley. 529 S. 29th Street. Install a 7000L MV OH WP street light. PETITION FOR STREET LIGHT - 600-800 BLOCKS NOTRE DAME Petition for street lights in the 600 to 800 blocks of Notre Dame Avenue was filed with the Board by Louis Rafhill, 744 N. Notre Dame Avenue, South Bend, Indiana, and 18 others and, upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, was referred to the Traffic Engineer for study and recommendation. TRAFFIC REGULATION APPROVED - 1200 W. WESTERN Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the Board approved the recommendation of the Traffic Director for the extension of yellow curb line on the north side of 1200 W. Western Avenue, from the existing yellow east of Walnut to the first alley east of Walnut.
