5/5/69 ADOPTION OF VACATION RESOLUTION NO. 3279, 1969 - CHARLES NIBLICK RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, That it is desirable to vacate the following: The first east -west alley north of Marion Street from Scott Street east to the north -south alley between Scott Street and Leland Avenue,. situated between Lots No. 25 and 26 in James D. Kent's Sub. of Bank Out Lot 114. Reserving the rights and easements of all utilities and the Municipal City of South Bend, Indiana, to construct and maintain any facilities, including but not limited to electric, telephone, gas, water, sewer, surface water control structures and ditches within the vacated right of way unless such rights are released by the individual utilities.. The following property may be injuriously or bene- ficially affected by such vacation: Lots No. 25 and 26 of James D. Kent's Subdivision. Notice of this resolution shall be published on the 9th day of May and on the 16th day of May, 1969, in the South Bend Tribune and the Tri County News. This Board, at its office in the City Hall, on the 19th day of May, 1969, at 10:00 A.M., will hear and receive re- monstrances from all persons interested in or affected by these proceedings. BOSKEY RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, That -it is desirable to vacate the following: EAST -WEST ALLEY BETWEEN LOTS 235 AND 228 OF NORTHWEST THIRD PLAT. Beginning at the southwest corner of Lot 235 of said Northwest Third Plat; thence easterly on and along the south line of said Lot 235 a distance of 240 feet more or less to the southeast corner of .said Lot 235; thence south a distance of 14 feet to the northeast corner of Lot 228 of said Northwest Third Plat; thence westerly on and along the north ine of said Lot 228, a distance of 240 feet more or less to the northwest corner of said Lot 228; thence north 14 feet to the southwest corner of Lot 235 and the point of beginning.
