5/5/69 0 C) E 1 RECOMMENDATION OF CITY ENGINEER FOR AWARD OF CONTRACT - SHERIDAN AVENUE CURB Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the recommendation�of the City Engineer for award of contract for construction of approximately 2550 feet of concrete curb on Sheridan Avenue from Ford to Sample Street, was approved by the Board, subject to the availability of funds, to Rieth-Riley Construction Company., as the lowest and best bid received. ANNUAL REPORT - ST. JOSEPH COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT Annual report for 1969 of the St. Joseph County Health Department was ordered filed. STREET LIGHT REQUEST - OPPOSITE 3023 HILLTOP DRIVE The request of Twyckenham Hills Community Club, Inc., by Mrs. P. J. Vanden Bosche, 2721 Woodmont Drive, South Bend, Indiana for a street light opposite 3023 Hilltop Drive, upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, was referred to the Engineering Department for investigation and recommendation. STREET LIGHT PETITION - 2700 BLOCK SOUTHRIDGE DRIVE The petition of Mrs. James E. McMeel, 2726 Southridge Drive, South Bend, Indiana and 16 others for a street light in the 2700 block of Southridge Drive was, upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, referred to the Engineering Department for investigation and recommendation. STREET SIGNS - WEST INDIANA AVENUE Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the Board approved the recommendation of the Traffic Engineer to replace the two hour parking signs with one hour parking signs in front of 732 and 740 West Indiana Avenue. CONTRACTOR'S BOND Contractor's bond on behalf of Larry K. Martsolf, expiring 5/1/70, was approved by the Board. STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORTS Street light outage reports for the period 4/29/69 to 5/2/69 were ordered filed. There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting ad- journed at 12:05 P.M. Clerk
