3/31/69 <br />M <br />P <br />1 <br />LJ <br />STREET LIGHT INSTALLATIONS APPROVED <br />Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the Board approved <br />the_ recommendation of the Traffic Engineer for the installation of the <br />following street lights: <br />Mid -block of Warren, between Huron and Ford - install 7000L MV OH WP <br />street light. <br />Mid -block of Carlisle, between Ford and Dunham - install <br />7000 L MV OH WP street light. <br />Mid -block of 1600 Florence - install 7000L MV OH WP street light. <br />STREET LIGHT INSTALLATION APPROVED - MAIN STREET UNDERPASS <br />The City Engineer submitted the recommendation of Indiana and Michigan <br />Electric Company for street 1-ighting installations for the Main Street <br />underpass, a study having been made at the request of the School Corpora- <br />tion for additional lighting under the viaduct. Upon motion made, <br />seconded and unanimously carried, the Board approved the recommendation <br />of the Traffic Engineering Department for the installation of additional <br />lighting as follows: <br />Four - 10,400L Fluorescent Units. <br />AUTO -OWNERS INSURANCE COMPANY - POWER OF ATTORNEY <br />Letter from Auto -Owners Insurance Company, Lansing, Michigan, authorizing <br />local agents John J. Brassuer, Albert J. Brassuer, Jr., Kathryn M. Stickley <br />and Janet L. Harness to execute power of attorney on behalf of the Company <br />in providing miscellaneous bonds to the City of South Bend was reviewed <br />and ordered filed. <br />STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORTS <br />Street light outage reports for the period 3/20/69 to 3/28/69 were ordered <br />filed. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board_ the meetine ad- <br />journed at 10:55 A.M. <br />
