Lots 38, 39 and 40 of the Original Plat <br />to the town, now city, of South Bend, Indiana. <br />(b) North Central shall, on approval of the purchase price by <br />the City,enter into purchase agreements for the above described <br />property, said purchase agreement to be contingent on the sale of <br />bonds by the City to finance the project. The purchase agreements <br />shall remain in effect for a period of not less than six (6) <br />months from the date of the agreement. After the sale of bonds <br />and a written notice to proceed by the City, North Central shall <br />acquire said real estate, furnishing the City with the necessary <br />title insurance and closing statements. <br />(c) For its services North Central shall be paid a fee <br />from thh proceeds of the bond issue of six'(6) percent of the pur- <br />chase price on all lands and properties it acquires for the City <br />without resorting to condemnation, and shall be paid the sum of <br />One Hundred FFifty Dollars ($150.00) per day for appraisals and <br />court appearances on properties which are condemned. <br />IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties set their hands and seats on <br />the day and year first above written. <br />CITY OF SOUTH BEND, IND IANA <br />By: Lloyd S. Edison Avenue and 15 <br />others for the installation of a street light in the 100 block of N. Edison <br />Avenue was filed with the Board and, upon motion made, seconded, and carried, <br />referred to the Traffic Engineer for investigation and recommendation to <br />the Board. <br />PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS ADOPTED <br />Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the Board approved the <br />plans and specifications filed by the consulting engineer for the following <br />improvements: <br />IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 3260, being for the improvement of 33rd Street <br />from Pleasant Street to North Side Boulevard, by constructing a Class C pave- <br />ment with curb. <br />IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 3263, being for the improvement of 35th Street, <br />from Jefferson Boulevard to the railroad south of Jefferson Boulevard, by <br />constructing a Class C pavement with curb repair. <br />IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 3265, being for the improvement of Clyde Street <br />from Donald Street to Calvert, by constructing a Class C pavement with curb <br />repair. <br />IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 3266, being for the improvement of Sancome Street, <br />from LaPorte Avenue to Lincolnway West, by c nstructing a Class C pavement <br />with curb repair. <br />and the same are hereby adopted and ordered placed on file. <br />The Board sets 10:00 A.M., on March 17, 1969, as the time for receiving bids <br />for the above said improvements; and the Clerk is directed to give notice by <br />two weekly publications of the time and place where bids will be received. <br />
