<br />The Board reconvened at 3:55 P.M., January 27; 1969, with Lloyd S. Taylor -and
<br />S. J. Crumpacker present.
<br />ASSESSMENT ROLL FILED - IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO 3248 - W. DONALD ST.
<br />L1°oyd S. Taylor, City Engineer, files with the Board an assessment roll with
<br />the names of the owners and a description of the property subject to be assessed,
<br />with the amount of the prima facie assessment totaling $30,679.39, for the -
<br />improvement of West Donald Street, from 'th6natley east of Webster to Kemble
<br />by constructing a Class C pavement with curb. The Board adopts a. resolution
<br />accepting the final estimate and primary assessment roll.
<br />And the Clerk is directed to give notice that said improvement has been com-,
<br />pleted and there is on file in the office of the City Controller an assessment
<br />roll with the names of owners and a description of the property subject to be
<br />assessed which can be seen in said office; that the Board, at its office, Room 7,
<br />City Hall, will, on the lOth day of February, 1969, at 10:00 A.M., receive
<br />and hear remonstrances against the amounts assessed against the property
<br />owners on said Roll, and the owners of such real estate may attend in person.or
<br />by representative and be heard.
<br />PETITION FILED TO VACATE PART OF ROSE STREET AND CERTAIN ALLEYS - BOSKEY, ET AL
<br />A petition to vacate a portion of Rose Street and certain alleys was filed
<br />by R. J. DuComb, attorney, on behalf of Stephen G. Boskey, Velma A. Boskey,
<br />Harry R. Robe, Phylis Robe, William H. Dunfee and William E. Ramsey by
<br />Associated Realty Corporation and Arnold Golden, Optionee by Robert J. DuComb,
<br />attorney, together with deposit of'$65.00 for costs. Upon motion made,
<br />seconded and carried, the petition was referred to the Engineering Department
<br />for location of utilities before forwarding to the Area Plan Commission for
<br />study and recommendation to the Board.

<br />Letter -of January 21, 1969 from attorney Joseph A. Roper in reference to the
<br />granting of a 24 ft. easement to property owner Ellison by State Wide
<br />Aluminum Products in the matter of Vacation Resolution No. 3272 was read and
<br />ordered filed.

<br />The annual report of the Police Department for 1968 was reviewed and ordered
<br />filed,
<br />LETTER OF INQUIRY RE DATE OF ISSUE FOR TAXICAB DRIVER'S LICENSES
<br />Letter from Grady L. Thompson, 511 Harrison Street, South Bend, Indiana, is received
<br />inquiring if the date of renewing taxicab driver's licenses might be renewed
<br />on date of applicant's birth. It was suggested the letter be referred to
<br />the City Controller for review.
