13 4/12/71 ARING ON ASSE ri1 - VACATION RESOLUTION NO. 3336, 1971 - HE AU 1 rn..A.n This being the date set, hearing was held on the assessment roll showing the award of damages and the'assessment of benefits in the matter of the vacation of: The east -west alley between Tasher Avenue and Jennings Avenue from the east line of Lot 19 to the west line of Lot 27 in Crestview First Addition. Also; Jennings Avenue from the east line of Lot 19 to the west line of Lot 27 in Crestview First Addition. under Vacation Resolution No. 3336, 1971. The Clerk tendered proofs of publi- cation which were read and found to be sufficient. In the matter of said assessment roll, no remonstrators having appeared and no written remonstrances having been received and the Board having found no damages to be awarded and no benefits to be"assessed as shown on said assess- ment roll, upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the assessment roll was approved as presented and said resolution in all things ratified and confirmed and said proceedings closed and said alleys declared vacated. HEARING ON ASSESSMENT ROLL - VACATION RESOLUTION NO-. 3337 1971 - DE OF REDEVELOPMENT POST OFFICE SITE This being the date set, hearing was held on the assessment roll in Vacation Resolution No. 3337, 1971, showing the award of damages and the assessment of benefits in the matter of the vacation of: A part of the west°half of Section 12, Township 37 north, Range 2 east, City of South Bend, St. Joseph County, Indiana, described as follows: Beginning at the intersection of the east boundary of South Michigan Street (U.S. R. #31) and the north boundary of East Monroe Street; thence north 0 degrees 29 minutes 07 seconds west 42.33 feet along said east boundary; thence northeasterly 381.53 feet along an arc to the right and having a radius of 624.57 feet and sub- tended -by a long chord having a bearing of north 17 degrees 00 minutes 53 seconds east and a length of 375.62 feet; thence north 34 degrees 30 minutes 53 seconds east 9.47.feet to the south boundary of east Western Avenue; thence north 89 degrees 37 minutes 15 seconds east 309.62 feet along said south boundary; thence northeasterly 253.74 feet along an arc to the left and having a radius of 424.47 feet and subtended by a long chord having a bearing of north 72 degrees 29 minutes 46 seconds east and a length of 249.47 feet; thence north 56 degrees 45 minutes 30 seconds east 119.43 feet; thence south 56 degrees 36 minutes 16 seconds east 123.03 feet; thence southeasterly 335.73 feet along an arc to the right and having a radius of 341,97 feet, and subtended by a long chord having a bearing of south 28 de- grees 28 minutes 47 seconds east and a length of 322.41 feet; thence south 0 degrees 21 minutes 18 seconds east 194.58 feet to the north boundary of East Monroe Street; thence south 89 degrees 38 minutes 42 seconds west 1,020.50 feet along said north boundary to the point of beginning and containing 428,210 square feet or 9.830 acres, more or less.
