4/5/71 <br />TRAFFIC REGULATIONS APPROVED <br />.Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the Board approved the - <br />recommendation of the Traffic Engineering Department for the following <br />traffic regulations: <br />Install !'no parking" signs and posts on both sides of the <br />1900 block of Vine Street, from 20th Street west to the alley <br />intersection. <br />Install two 2-hour parking (right and left) arrows and posts at <br />1905 Lincolnw,ay West at the east and west property lines. <br />PETITION FOR TRAFFIC SIGNAL AT BENDIX DRIVE AND ECLIPSE PLACE <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the petition of 222 persons <br />for a traffic signal at Bendix Drive and Eclipse Place, submitted to <br />the Board by William Nevin, Bendix Corporation, 401 .Bendix Driive, South <br />Bend, Indiana, was referred to the Traffic Engineering Department for <br />study and recommendation. <br />PARKING RESTRICTION - LOT AT 117 S. LAFAYETTE BOULEVARD <br />It was moved by Mr. Crumpacker, seconded by Mr. Bickel, and unanimously <br />carried, that the City owned parking facility at 117 S. Lafayette <br />Boulevard be restricted during regular business hours from 7:00 A.M. <br />to 5:00 P.M., Monday through Friday, to City owned vehicles and vehicles <br />belonging to elected City officials. <br />STREET LIGHT PETITION <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the petition for a -street light <br />in the 2200 block of Parkview Place signed by Elaine and Robert Janssens <br />and 27 others was referred to the Traffic Engineering Department for study <br />and recommendation to the Board. <br />CONTRACTOR'S BOND CANCELLED <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board approved the cancellation <br />of Contractor's Bond No. 372833 of Dennis Forte, d/b/a Dennis Forte Masonry <br />and Contracting, for all work done on and after the 21st day of May, 1971. <br />CONTRACTOR'S BOND <br />Certificate continuing the contractor's bond of Leonard Geans to 3/29/72 was <br />..approved by the Board and ordered filed. - <br />STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORTS <br />Street light outage reports for the period 3/29/71 to 4/2/71 were ordered <br />filed. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting ad- <br />journed at 11:10 A.M. <br />L d S.
