<br />A regular meeting of the Board of Public Works and Safety convened at 9:30
<br />A.M. on March 29, 1971, with all members present. The minutes of the
<br />previous meeting were reviewed and approved.
<br />BIDS OPENED - GI_LMER PARK TRUNK SEWER. DIVISIONS B AND C
<br />This being the date set for receiving bids for the construction of Divisions
<br />B and C of the Gilmer Park trunk sewer, the Clerk tendered proofs of publi-
<br />cation in the South Bend Tribune and the Tri County News on March 12 and
<br />March 19, 1971, which were found to be proper. The following bids were received:
<br />Bradberry Brothers, Inc., 20061 Dice Street, South Bend, Indiana, 46614.
<br />Non collusion affidavit was found to be proper. The bid was accompanied by
<br />a bid bond in the amount of 5% of the bid together with financial statement
<br />of bidder (Indiana State Board of Accounts Form No. 96-a). The bid was
<br />as follows:
<br />Division B - Total bid $79,230.50
<br />Division C - Total bid $29,457.00 $108,687.50
<br />Completion time - 150 calendar days.
<br />H. DeWulf Mechanical Contractor, Inc., 58600 Executive Drive, Mishawaka,
<br />Indiana, 46544. Non collusion affidavit was found to be proper. The bid
<br />was accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of 5% of the bid together with
<br />financial statement of bidder (Indiana State Board of Accounts Form No. 96-a).
<br />The bid was as follows:
<br />Division B - Total bid $94,305.50
<br />Division C - Total bid $39,691.40 $133,996.90
<br />Completion time - 150 calendar days.
<br />Howell Construction Co., Inc., 111 E. Windsor Avenue, Elkhart, Indiana, 46514.
<br />Non collusion affidavit was found to be proper. The bid was accompanied by
<br />a bid bond in the amount of 5% of the bid together with financial statement
<br />of bidder (Indiana State Board of Accounts Form No. 96-a). The bid was as

<br />davit was found to be proper. The bid was accompanied by a bid bond in the
<br />amount of 5% of the bid together with f:i.nancial statement of bidder (Indian
<br />State Board of Accounts Form No. 96-a). The bid was as follows:
