34 0, <br />3/8/71 <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Public Works and Safety finds that the <br />public safety is impaired due'to the lack of sidewalks, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that,pursuant to the Acts of <br />the General Assembly of the State of Indiana (Acts1969, Ch. 317), <br />the City Engineer is empowered to send notices to'the abutting property <br />owners ordering them to -install sidewalks, and if the owners do <br />not comply within the specified 30 days, the City EngineerIs <br />ordered to cause the sidewalk to be constructed, and such cost . <br />shall be assessed against the abutting property in accordance with <br />the provisions of the Act. <br />Dated this 8th day of March, 1971. <br />Approved by: s/ L. LaSalle Avenue, South Bend, Indiana to hold street <br />services on Fridays at Chapin and Napier Streets and on Saturdays <br />at Washington and Walnut Streets, between the hours of 5:00 and 6:00 <br />P.M. from now until fall for so long as the weather permits. <br />REQUEST OF MOHAWK FLUSH DOORS, INC.
