1/25/71 <br />Portions of streets and alleys, all within the recorded plat of <br />Raff's First Addition, Raff's Second Addition and Lewis First Addition, <br />Subdivisions in the northeast Quarter of Section 14, Township 37 <br />north, Range 2 east, as follows: <br />(1) Leon Court, an east -west street from the east line of Kemble <br />Avenue to the west line of Kendall Street (38,096 sq. ft.); <br />(2) Catalpa Avenue, a north -south street, from the south line of <br />Cotter Street to the north line of Leon Court (9;960 sq. ft.); <br />(3) Catalpa Avenue, a north -south street, from the south line of <br />Leon Court south 225 feet (9,000 sq. ft.); <br />(4) Chapin Street, a north -south street, from the south line of <br />Cotter Street to the north line of Leon Court (9,960 sq. ft.); <br />(5) Chapin Street, a north -south street, from the south line of <br />Leon Court south 225 feet (9,000 sq. ft.); <br />(6) The north -south alley,,between Prairie Avenue and Catalpa <br />Avenue from the south line of Cotter Street to the north line <br />of Leon Court (3,486 sq. ft.); <br />(7) The north -south alley between Catalpa Avenue and Chapin Street <br />from the south line of Cotter Street to the north line of <br />Leon Court (3,486 sq. ft.); <br />(8) The north -south alley between Catalpa Avenue and Chapin Street <br />from the south line of Leon Court south 225 feet (3,150 sq. ft.); <br />(9) The north -south alley between Chapin Street and Kendall Street <br />from the south line of Cotter Street to the north line of <br />Leon Court (3,486 sq. ft.); and <br />0 0) The north -south alley between Chapin Street and Kendall Street <br />from the south line of Leon Court south 225 feet (3,150 sq. ft.). <br />The Clerk tendered proofs of publication in the South Bend liribune and the <br />Tri County News on January 1, January 8 and January 15, 1971, which were <br />read and found to be sufficient. No remonstrators having appeared and no <br />written remonstrances having been received, upon motion made, seconded and <br />unanimously carried, the assessment roll was approved as presented and the <br />vacation resolution in all things ratified and confirmed and the proceedings <br />closed and the property declared vacated. <br />ASSESSMENT ROLL FILED - VACATION RESOLUTION NO. 3333 - JEROME F. Taylor, City Engineer, files assessment roll showing award of <br />damages and assessrpent of benefits in Vacation Resolution No. 3333, for the <br />vacation of; <br />The first north -south alley west of Taylor Street running north <br />from South Street to the first east -west alley north of South <br />Street.
