January 18, 1971 <br />A regular meeting of the Board of Public Works and Safety convened at 9:30 <br />A.M. on January 18, 1971. Present were S. J. Crumpacker, City Attorney, <br />and James A. Bickel, City Controller, Mr. Bickel acted as chairman of the <br />meeting. <br />BIDS OPENED - MOTOR EQUIPMENT (GROUPS III TO XI) <br />This being the.date set for receiving rebids for 1971 motor equipment as <br />follows: <br />Group III 17 - 4 door Sedans for Police Department <br />Group IV 2 - 4 door Sedans for Waste Water Treatment Plant <br />Group V 1 - 4 door Sedan for Human Relations Department <br />Group VI 4 - 2 door or 4 door Sedans for Building Department <br />Group VII 1 - 4 door Sedan for Sanitation Department <br />Group VIII 3 - 4 door Sedans for Fire Department <br />Group IX 1 - 4 door Sedan for Department of Redevelopment <br />Group X 1 - 4 door Sedan for Park Department <br />Group XI- 3 - 2 door or 4 door Sedans for Water Works <br />r—i <br />the Clerk tendered proofs of publication of notice in the South Bend Tribune <br />and the Tri County News on January 8 and Januaryl5, 1971, which were found <br />l� <br />to be proper. Engineering Department. <br />No trade-ins. <br />#3. None. <br />A. 8 - Two-way FM single frequency dual squelch radios for <br />Waste Water Treatment Plant.
