1/4/71 IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 3323 - HUMBOLDT STREET Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the matter of the improvement of Humboldt Street, from Elmer to Huey Street, by constructing a Class C pave- ment with curbs was postponed four weeks. COMPLAINT OF BERNICE M. FURNISH The complaint of Bernice M. Furnish in reference to her property at 1418 S. Fellows Street was refe-rred to Cecil McHenry for checking. SPECIAL POLICE COMMISSION - BRIAN HENRY LEUTHOLD Upon motion made, seconded and carried the request of Brian Henry Leuthold for a special police commission in addition to his special police commission as an employee of American District Telpphone Company was denied in that the Board does not have authority to grant such commission. COMMUNICATION FROM CHARLES E. HOWELL r-q Letter from Charles E. Howell, 1530 Kemble Avenue, South Bend, Indiana in 90 reference to the parking of trucks in connection with his business on Q� the streets was ordered filed. STREET LIGHTING APPROVED - SCOTTSDALE Upon motion made, seconded and carried,the Board approved the recommendation of the Traffic Engineering Department for street lighting in the Scottsdale Area and the areas north of Jackson Road and south of the I & M easement as follows: Install 24 7,000L MV OH WP 4 7,000L MV OH WP 4 7,000L MV UG 25' Remove 25 4,000L INC OH,WP at a cost of $555.00 per year. CONTRACTORS' BONDS APPROVED Upon motion made, seconded and carried the following contractors' bonds were approved: Tuggy Itow,d/b/a Ralph Keller Co. - to 1/l/72 John G. Steinhofer - to 1/1/72 Floyd J. and Al Wachowiak, Inc. - to 1/1/72 Certificates continuing contractors bonds: Oscar Robinson - to 1/l/72 Herschel Willis - to 1/l/72 EXCAVATION BONDS APPROVED: Upon motion made seconded and carried the following excavation bonds were approved: Tuggy Itow, d/b/a Ralph Keller Co. - to 1/l/72 United Heating and Plumbing Co. - to 1/l/72 S & W Construction Co. - to 1/1/72 Certificate continuing excavation bond: William Cinal - to 1/1/72 STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORTS Street light outage reports for the periodl2/21/70 to 12/30/70 were ordered filed.
