TRAFFIC REGULATIONS APPROVED Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board approved the recommendation of the Traffic Engineering Department to make Falcon Street, between Sample and Linden Streets a snow route and that the snow route on Lake Street be removed but that it be given priority for snow plowing between Western and Ford Streets because of Harrison School. Catalpa and Chapin Streets. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board approved the recommendation of the Traffic Engineering Department to prohibit parking on both sides of Catalpa and Chapin Streets for a distance of 50 feet south of the railroad right of way. Stop sign on Altgeld at Ironwood Drive. U Pon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board approved the recommendation of the Traffic Engineering Department for the installation of a stop sign on Altgeld Street at Ironwood Drive. PARKING METER REPLACEMENT - 126 Lincolnwav East Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board approved the recommendation of the Traffic Engineering Department for the replacement of parking meters #14 and #16 at 126 Lincolnway East, removed during construction of Municipal Parking Garage #2. PETITION FOR STREET LIGHTS - COLUMBIA STREET AND DUBAIL STREET Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the petition of LOcflle P. Wingard, 317 E. Indiana Avenue, South Bend, Indiana, and 24 others, for street light in the 1500 block of Columbia Street at the alley between Indiana Avenue and Haney Street and for the relocation of the street light on the northwest corner of Columbia Street and Dubai] to the southeast corner, was referred to the Traffic Engineering Department for study and recommendation to the Board. CERTIFICATES OF LIABILITY INSURANCE FILED Certificate of public liability insurance on behalf of Decatur Salvage, Inc., Thomas Edward, Larry and Zenta Imel to 10/1/71 was ordered filed. Certificate of public liability insurance on behalf of the South Bend - Mishawaka Area Chamber of Commerce, Inc., to 12/17/71 was ordered filed. Certificate of public liability insurance on behalf of Eugene;Hoath to 1/l/72 was ordered filed. CONTRACTOR'S BOND CANCELLED - LARRY K. MARTSOLF Upon motion made, seconded and carried, Contractor's Bond #4257935 on behalf of Larry K. Martsolf was terminated and 'cancelled for any work done by Larry K. Martsolf on and after December 28, 1970. CONTRACTORS' BONDS CONTINUED Upon motion made, seconded and carried certificates continuing the following contractors' bonds were approved for the period to 1/l/72: Donald Marshall Place & Company, Inc. Hubert Woodcox, d/b/a Woodcox Building Contractor EXCAVATION BONDS CONTINUED Upon motion made, seconded and carried certificates continuing the following excavation bonds to l/l/72 were approved: Charles D. Nettrouer, d/b/a Chuck and Son Walter T. Otterstein Victor Trippel EXCAVATION BONDS APPROVED Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the following excavation bonds for the period to 1/l/72 were approved: H. DeWulf Mechanical Contractor, Inc. Raymond F. Hoffman, Inc.
