7/13/70 1 1 1007 N. Notre Dame - Mr. Adamson stated that per letter received it was indicated that this structure would be demolished under private contract, and Board instructed that it be kept under surveillance. Upon motions made, seconded and carried, Sub -Standards Division was authorized to seek bids for the demolition of the following: 1815 S. Ironwood Drive 507 2 S. William Street 408 E. Paris Street 1217,E. Bissell Street (2 structures) By motions made, seconded and carried actions were taken on the following: 614 S . Columbia St. — Continued for one week. 621 S. Rush St. - Sub- Standards Division authorized to seek bids for the demolit rn of the accessory building. 1506 Kemble St. - Continued for two weeks 2405 Kenwood - Continued for one week. 1302 - 27th St. - Structure removed under private contract, and this case is closed. 740 N. Frances - Continued for four weeks. 1137 S. Franklin - Mr. Adamson reports that he understands that owner has made a contract for private demolition. This case is continued indefinitely and building is to be kept under surveill- ance. Demolition Bids Opened: This being the date set, bids for demolition of the following properties were opened. Non collusion affidavits were found to be proper. 1819 S. Ironwood - Bryant Excavating Co. $735.00 Midwest Demolition Co. 829.00 O'Neal Trucking Co. 774.00 B & J Demolition Co. 1400.00 Upon motion made, seconded and carried, contract for the demolition of the structure was awarded to Bryant Excavating Co, on their low bid of $735.00. 702 W. Colfax - Bryant Excavating Co. $1000,00 Midwest Demolition- Co. 989.00 O'Neal Trucking Co. 200.00 B & J Demolition Co. 1150.00 Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the bid of O'Neal Trucking Co. was not considered as it was for the accessory building only, and contract for the demolition of the structures was awarded to Midwest Demolition Co. on their low bid of $989.00. Request for sub -standard property owners to appear before Board 7/27/70: Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board approved the request of Sub -Standards Director to have the following property owners appear before the Board on July 27, 1970, to show cause, if any they have, why the properties listed below should not be demolished: 427 N. Hill Street 16082 Prairie Ave. 621 S. Rush (accessory building only) -- Anna A. Stancati, widow of Antonio Stancati -- Sam Bertsein and Yetta Berstein -- J. C. Allen, Adm. for the Estate of Joseph C. Brown And the Clerk was directed to so notify said owners by certified mail.
