7/13/70 <br />1 <br />1 <br />1007 N. Notre Dame - Mr. Adamson stated that per letter received it <br />was indicated that this structure would be demolished under private <br />contract, and Board instructed that it be kept under surveillance. <br />Upon motions made, seconded and carried, Sub -Standards Division was <br />authorized to seek bids for the demolition of the following: <br />1815 S. Ironwood Drive <br />507 2 S. William Street <br />408 E. Paris Street <br />1217,E. Bissell Street (2 structures) <br />By motions made, seconded and carried actions were taken on the <br />following: <br />614 S . Columbia St. — Continued for one week. <br />621 S. Rush St. - Sub- Standards Division authorized to seek bids <br />for the demolit rn of the accessory building. <br />1506 Kemble St. - Continued for two weeks <br />2405 Kenwood - Continued for one week. <br />1302 - 27th St. - Structure removed under private contract, and this <br />case is closed. <br />740 N. Frances - Continued for four weeks. <br />1137 S. Franklin - Mr. Adamson reports that he understands that owner <br />has made a contract for private demolition. This case is <br />continued indefinitely and building is to be kept under surveill- <br />ance. <br />Demolition Bids Opened: <br />This being the date set, bids for demolition of the following properties <br />were opened. Non collusion affidavits were found to be proper. <br />1819 S. Ironwood - Bryant Excavating Co. $735.00 <br />Midwest Demolition Co. 829.00 <br />O'Neal Trucking Co. 774.00 <br />B & J Demolition Co. 1400.00 <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, contract for the demolition <br />of the structure was awarded to Bryant Excavating Co, on their low <br />bid of $735.00. <br />702 W. Colfax - Bryant Excavating Co. $1000,00 <br />Midwest Demolition- Co. 989.00 <br />O'Neal Trucking Co. 200.00 <br />B & J Demolition Co. 1150.00 <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the bid of O'Neal Trucking Co. <br />was not considered as it was for the accessory building only, and <br />contract for the demolition of the structures was awarded to Midwest <br />Demolition Co. on their low bid of $989.00. <br />Request for sub -standard property owners to appear before Board 7/27/70: <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board approved the request <br />of Sub -Standards Director to have the following property owners appear <br />before the Board on July 27, 1970, to show cause, if any they have, <br />why the properties listed below should not be demolished: <br />427 N. Hill Street <br />16082 Prairie Ave. <br />621 S. Rush (accessory <br />building only) <br />-- Anna A. Stancati, widow of Antonio <br />Stancati <br />-- Sam Bertsein and Yetta Berstein <br />-- J. C. Allen, Adm. for the Estate of <br />Joseph C. Brown <br />And the Clerk was directed to so notify said owners by certified mail. <br />
