Taylor files with the Board his recommendation for the <br />improvement of Humboldt Street, from Elmer Street to Huey Street, by <br />constructing a Class C.pavement with curbs, on the petition of Jon' B. Garth; <br />and, upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the Board directs <br />Clyde-E. Williams and Associates, Inc., consulting engineers, to prepare <br />preliminary plans, estimates and improvement resolution for such improvement. <br />PERFORMANCE BOND FILED BY BRADBERRY BROTHERS - WASHINGTON STREET SEWER <br />Performance bond filed by Bradberry Brothers Excavating Company was approved <br />by the Board and ordered filed. <br />REQUEST TO BURN MARIJUANA WEEDS <br />The request of Captain Ralph J. Wolfe, Police Community Relations, on June 16, <br />1970, for permission to burn marijuana weeds which will be collected for <br />destruction by a local youth group on Saturday, June 20, 1970, was approved by <br />the Board June 17, 1970, and is confirmed and entered of record in these minutes. <br />REQUEST TO ATTEND FUNERAL <br />The request of Chief of Police Loren M. Bussert on June 16, 1970, for three <br />police officers to attend the funeral of Lieutenant James V.
