Atlantic Richfield Co., successor by Merger to Sinclair Oil Corp., South ,Bend, Ind. Non collusion affidavit was found to be proper. The bid was accompanied by b:id_bonds'.(B) °, in the amount of $2000.00. Item #1 -- 300,000 Gals. more or less of regular gasoline (tankwagon lots) ----------- $3.20�/gal. transport truckloads ---------------- 11.97�/gal. Plus applicable taxes and inspection fdes: .08� per gal. for gasoline in transport truckloads only 8.00� per gallon State Tax (all products). Item #2 -- 130,000 Gals. more or less #1 diesel.fuel 00 in tankwagon lots ------- 12.84(,/gal. All bids _plus applicable taxes and inspection fees as indicated -on, bids . Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried the bids are feferred to the Director of Purchasing for review and recommendation. LeFEBURE CORPORATION A letter from the LeFebure Corporation requesting permission to tie their alarm system for Tower Federal Savings & Loan into a--Mosler or Diebold panel at the Police Department was accepted for file. The Clerk of the Board was instructed to inform LeFebure Corporation that the Police Dept. recommends the installation favorably providing it can be connected into the existing equipment,and that the Board will require a written verification from either Mosler or.Diebold as to the use of their equipment for this purpose. REQUEST FOR MILITARY LEAVE OF ABSENCE It was moved, seconded and carried that the request of Chris Hoffman for military leave be approved upon recommendation of Chief Bussert. REQUEST FOR TRANSFER OF FUNDS -- POLICE DEPARTMENT Upon motion made, seconded and carried the request to transfer $3000.00 from Account P-11 (Services Personal) to Account P-262 (Medical, Surgical and Dental) was approved, and referred to the Legal Department for drafting of the ordinance for presentation to the Council. REQUEST TO ATTEND INTERNATIONAL MUNICIPAL PARKING CONGRESS WORKSHOP A motion was made, seconded and carried that Alvin Reeder, Supt. of Parking Meter Dept. be given permission to attend Workshop on June 14 through 17, 1970 in Detroit Mich. WEIGHTS AND MEASURES DEPT. Report for the month of May, 1970 from Bert S. Cichowicz was placed on file.
