<br />Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the request of the St.
<br />Joseph County Memorial Day Society to hold a parade on May 30, 1970, at
<br />12:00 P.M., starting at Madison and Michigan Streets, south on Michigan to
<br />Jefferson Boulevard, west on Jefferson Boulevard to Lafayette Boulevard,
<br />north on Lafayette to Colfax Avenue, west on Colfax Avenue to LaPorte
<br />Avenue to the City Cemetery, was approved on condition that evidence of
<br />proper insurance to hold the City harmless is provided.
<br />REQUEST TO HOLD PARADE - COMMUNITY LITTLE LEAGUE -� May 24, 1970.
<br />Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the request of Raymond
<br />C. Zielinski, 801 S. Illinois Street, South Bend, Indiana, for,the Community
<br />Little League to hold a parade on May 24, 1970, commencing at 12:30 P.M.,
<br />at Carlisle and Huron, on Olive to Ford Street, east on Ford to Walnut,
<br />south on Walnut to Sample, and west on Sample to the ball park, was approved
<br />on condition that evidence of proper insurance,to hold the City harmless is
<br />provided.

<br />TRAFFIC REGULATIONS APPROVED
<br />Byron and Springbrook Drives - School crossing signs and the painting of
<br />crosswalks at Byron and Springbrook.
<br />No parking signs on the north side of West Jefferson, between Chestnut and
<br />Cherry Streets, on the east side of Cherry, from the south property line of
<br />124 S. Cherry to Jefferson.
<br />Removal of two-hour signs and posts in the 1100.block of South Michigan Street.
<br />Install stop sign at Main and Ireland Road, on k1p[p-.Street.
<br />Remove parking meters #2, #4, #6 and'#8 on the east side of S. Michigan Street
<br />just south of Sample.
<br />CONTRACTOR'S BOND
<br />Contractor's bond of Ohio Farmers Insuranc e Company on behalf of Edward
<br />Nierzwicki, d/b/a N. & S. Construction Company, commencing May 23, 1970,
<br />for the period ending 1/l/71 was approved by the Board and ordered filed.
<br />Certificate continuing contractor's bond on behalf of Jay Kretchmer to 1/l/71
<br />was ordered filed.
<br />CONTRACTOR'S BOND CANCELLED
<br />Cancellation of contractor's bond of the Buckeye Union Insurance Company
<br />on behalf of Edward Nierzwicki was approved effective May 23, 1970.
