<br />A regular meeting of the Board of Public Forks and Safety convened at 9:35
<br />A.M. on April 13, 1970, with all members present. Minutes of the last two
<br />meetings were reviewed and approved.
<br />OPEN BIDS FOR DRAPERIES - COUNTY CITY BUILDING
<br />This being the date set for receiving re -bids for draperies for City offices
<br />on the 14th, 13th, 12th and 4th floors of the County City Building, the Clerk
<br />tendered proofs of publication in the South Bend Tribune and the Tri County
<br />News on April 3 and April 10, 1970, which were read and found to be proper.
<br />Bids were as follows:
<br />Asa's Drapery Den, 52029 U. S. #31 North, South Bend, Indiana. Non collusion
<br />affidavit was found to be proper. No bid bond nor certified check accompanied
<br />the bid. The bid was:
<br />Draperies $6,389.00
<br />Rods 850.00 $7,239.00
<br />Robertson's, 211 S. Michigan Street, South Bend, Indiana. Non collusion
<br />affidavit was found to be proper. The bid was accompanied by a bid bond in
<br />the amount of 100% of the total bid. The bid was:

<br />following telegram accompanied the bid: "Aetna Casualty and Surety Company is
<br />issuing Bond #8S106377BC to the City of South Bend guaranteeing United Drapery's
<br />performance in your contract with the City. Marjorie McDougal, Dann Brothers,
<br />Inc." The bid was:

<br />NGM Enterprise, 1516 Glenlake Drive, South Bend, Indiana. Non collusion
<br />affidavit found to be proper. Bid accompanied by certified check in the amount
<br />of $70.00.
<br />Rods only $ 700.00
<br />Wyman's '103-117 N. Michigan Street, South Bend, Indiana. Non collusion affi-
