Williams and Associates, Inc., to proceed with design plans for <br />the detention basin #3, and associated facilities, in the Clyde Creek <br />Drainage Basin, subject to the approval of the State Board of Tax <br />Commissioners of appropriation ordinance. <br />NOTICE TO PROCEED WITH DESIGN PLANS - NORTHEAST AREA DRAINAGE BASIN <br />It was moved, seconded and unanimously carried that notice be given to <br />Charles W. Cole & Son, Inc., to proceed on the design plans for detention <br />basins and associated facilities in the northeast area drainage basin, <br />subject to the approval of the State Board of Tax Commissioners of;appropri- <br />ation ordinance. <br />REQUEST TO HOLD WHITE CANE SALE - BLIND AND SIGHTED WORKERS OF ST. JOSEPH CO. <br />Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the Board approved the <br />request of Walter Rakowski, on behalf of the Blind and Sighted Workers of <br />St. Joseph County, llth floor County City Building, South Bend, Indiana, to <br />hold its annual white cane sale, in the downtown area, between the hours of <br />12:00 noon and 8:00 P.M., April 17 th May 2, 1970, it being understood that <br />permission for such sales has been granted by the Charitable Solicitations <br />Commission. <br />IN -KIND RENT VOUCHERS FOR MARCH - ACTION, Inc. <br />In -kind rent vouchers for March, 1970, for F ire Station #5 and #7, in the <br />amounts of $169.62 and $200.00 by ACTION, Inc., were ordered filed. <br />STOP SIGN - BELLEWOOD AT SUMMIT <br />Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the Board approved the <br />recommendation of the Traffic Engineering Department for the installation <br />of a stop sign on Bellewood at Summit Street. <br />REMOVAL OF STREET LIGHTS ON VACATED STREETS APPROVED <br />Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the Board approved the <br />recommendation of the Traffic Engineering Department for the removal of <br />street lights on Franklin Street, south of Western - one 1000L UG BLVD <br />at the alley south of Western; and one 4000L INC OH WP (J257-876) on <br />Brookfield at Colfax. <br />SPECIAL POLICE OFFICER'S BOND <br />Certificate continuing special police officer's bond on behalf of Steve <br />Olawski to 9/26/70 was approved and ordered filed. <br />GENERAL INSURANCE <br />Certificate of general insurance on behalf of LaRite Roofing and Insulating <br />Company, Inc., to 2/10/71 was ordered filed. <br />BXCXVAT`1"ON BOND <br />Certificate continuing excavation bond on behalf of Sollitt Construction Company <br />to 4/2/71 and excavation bond for Louis M.
