<br />and $800.00 upon submitting letter of report.
<br />DEDICATION FILED - VACATION RESOLUTION NO. 3286 - STEPHEN G. BOSKEY
<br />Grant of easement for a cul de sac as a public right of way in Vacation
<br />Resolution No. 3280, being for the vacation of certain alleys and a portion
<br />of Rose Street on the petition of Stephen G. Boskey and others, was filed
<br />with the Board by Robert J. DuComb,. attorney for petitioner, and, upon motion
<br />made, seconded and carried was referred to the Engineering Department for
<br />confirmation of the location ofthe cul de sac.
<br />PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS APPROVED FOR SEWER CONSTRUCTION - ROSEMARY LANE
<br />Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the Board approved the
<br />plans and specifications for the construction of sewer extension in Rosemary
<br />lane. April 6, 1970, was set as the time for receiving bids, and the Clerk
<br />was directed to give notice by publication in the South Bend Tribune and the
<br />Tri County News on March 13 and March 20, 1910.
<br />REQUEST TO SEEK BIDS FOR DEMOLITION OF 117 S. LAFAYETTE BOULEVARD
<br />Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the Board approved the
<br />request of the City Engineer for permission to have the building at 117 S.
<br />Lafayette demolished. Since such bids will be less than $2000.00, the Clerk
<br />is authorized to post notice that bids will be received for the demolition of
<br />the building at 117 S. Lafayette Boulevard until 9:30 A.M., on March 16,
<br />1970, in Room 1308 County City Building.
<br />REQUEST TO ADVERTISE FOR DRAPERIES FOR CITY OFFICES
<br />Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, permission was granted
<br />b the Purchasing Director to advertise for bids for draperies for City offices
<br />on the 4t h, 12th, 13th and 14th floors of the County City Building. March 23,
<br />1970, was set as the time for receiving bids and the C.lerk was directed to
<br />give notice by publication in the South Bend Tribune and the Tri County ,News on
<br />March 13 and March 20, 1970.
<br />AGREEMENT FOR SEWER CONSTRUCTION - PLACE AND COMPANY
<br />Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the Board approved and
<br />executed sewer construction agreement with Place and Company for -the
<br />installation of a sanitary sewer to service certain lands belonging to Place
<br />and Company, located southerly of Jackson Road and easterly of Miami Street
<br />and northerly of Kern Road, more particularly set out as follows:
<br />The first 1838.32 feet being a 12 inch sewer and the last
<br />610 feet being a .10 inch'sewer, all within the following
<br />described easement:
<br />Part of Section 31, Township 37 north, Range 3 east, in St.
<br />Joseph County, Indiana, being a strip of land 15 feet wide,
<br />7.5 feet either side of a line described as follows:
<br />Beginning on the north line of Kensington Farms at a point
<br />327.04 feet east of the northeast corner of Kensington Farms
<br />Third Section, Part Two, as recorded; thence south 440 05'
<br />57" west,'231 feet; thence south 090 55' 03" east 265.67
<br />feet; thence south 040 28' 53" east 214 feet- thence south
<br />340 11' 23" east, 154 feet; thence south 766 25' 28" east,
