<br />ASSESSMENT ROLL FILED - RESOLUTION NO. 3300, 1969 - OPENING OF FELLOWS STREET
<br />Lloyd S. Taylor, City Engineer, files assessment roll, showing award of damages
<br />and assessment of benefits in Resolution No. 3300, for the opening of the
<br />following:
<br />A public street 60 feet in width running north and south in
<br />the northwest Quarter of Section 25,-Township 37 north, Range
<br />2 east, and connecting at both ends with Fellows,Street as
<br />presently existing and constituting -an extension thereof from
<br />Walter Street to the north line of -the southeast Quarter of
<br />the northwest Quarter of said Section, the centerline of said
<br />proposed extension to coincide with the centerline of Fellows
<br />Street as presently existing at both ends.
<br />The following property may be injuriously or`beneficially affected
<br />by such dedication:
<br />A tract of land in the north Half of the southeast Quarter of
<br />the northwest Quarter of Section 25, Township 37 north,
<br />Range 2 east, City of South Bend, St. Joseph County, Indiana,
<br />more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the
<br />northeast corner of the north Half, southeast Quarter, north-
<br />west Quarter, Section 25, Township 37 north, Range 2 east;
<br />thence westerly on and along the north line of said southeast
<br />Quarter of the northwest Quarter, a distance of 369.3 feet,
<br />more or less, to the northeast corner of the Pierre Navarre
<br />Park; thence southerly on and along the easterly line of
<br />Pierre Navarre Park a distance of 628.6 feet more or less to
<br />the north line of Walter Street; thence easterly on and along
<br />said north line of Walter Street, said line being 30 feet
<br />north and parallel with the south line of said north Half,
<br />southeast Quarter, northwest Quarter, a distance of 365.50
<br />feet, more or less, to the east line of said north Half,
<br />southeast Quarter, northwest Quarter; thence northerly on and
<br />along said north Half, southeast Quarter, northwest Quarter,
<br />Section 25, a distance of 628.6 feet, more or less, to the
<br />point of beginning. Said tract containing 5.3 acres, more or
<br />less.

<br />In the matter of said assessment roll, the Board sets 9:30 A.M., on March 30,
<br />1970, as the time for hearing and receiving remonstrances from persons interested
<br />in or affected by such dedication, and'direfts the Clerk to give notice by
<br />publication in the South Bend Tribune and the�Tri County News on March 6,
<br />March 13 and March 20, 1970.
<br />TRAFFIC S16NALIZATION APPROVED - BENDIX AND PRAST
<br />Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the Board approved the
<br />recommendation of the Traffic Director for traffic signalization of Prast and
<br />Bendix as part of the Bendix parkigg lot and Prast improvement; and for the
<br />installation of a yield sign at the northwest quadrant at the roadway for
<br />southbound traffic desiring to turn right.

<br />Notice of cancellation of bontraator's bond for John Vanek by Western Surety
<br />Company and notice of cancellation of contractor's bond for Arthur E. Skwarcan
<br />The Ohio Casualty group Insurance Company were referred to the Legal Depart-
<br />ment for recommendation.
