41_ 5 <br />8/14/72 <br />PARTIAL PAYMENT AULM CONSTRUCTION COMPANY - MORRIS CIVIC AUDITORIUM <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board approved a partial <br />payment to Aulm Construction Company for work done on the Morris Civic <br />Auditorium in the amount of $10,057.50. <br />A.C.T.I.O.N. IN -KIND VOUCHERS <br />In -kind Contribution Vouchers covering estimated rental valuation <br />for Fire Stations #10, #7 and #8 for the month of July and August, <br />1972 were ordered filed. <br />HUMANE SOCIETY ANNUAL REPORT <br />The Humane Society of St. Joseph County filed its annual report for the <br />year ending April 30, 1972, <br />WEED COMPLAINTS FROM ST. JOSEPH COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT <br />TI, Notices were filed from the St. Joseph County Health Department <br />r4 relative to weeds on vacant lots owned by the City. Upon motion <br />in made, seconded and carried, the Board directed the Street Department <br />to cut the weeds, located at the SW corner of Marietta and Bronson <br />U and 1817 Bentons Court. <br />U <br />NOTICE OF JUNKED CAR <br />A notice was received from the St. Joseph COUNty Health Department <br />relative to a junked car in a lot at 1013 St. Louis Boulevard. This <br />was referred to Watsey Gauldin, the Environmental Inspector. <br />REQUEST TO CLOSE 1700 BLOCK OF NORTH ADAMS STREET <br />A memo was received from the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting stating <br />they recommend the closing of the 1700 block of North Adams Street <br />on Friday, August 10, 1972 from 6:00 P.M. to midnight for a block <br />picnic. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the recommendation <br />was accepted and the request was approved. <br />REOUEST TO CLOSE EASTMONT DRIVE <br />A memo was received from the Bureau of Traffic and Li§hting stating <br />they recommend the closing of Eastmont Drive from Greenmont Drive to <br />Darden Road on August 26, 1972 from 8:00 P.M. to 1:00 A.M. Upon <br />motion made, seconded and carried the recommendation was accepted and <br />the request was approved. <br />CONTRACTOR'S BONDS <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried Contractor's bonds were approved <br />for the following: J. B. Watson to August 7, 1973 andRobert Jasinski <br />to August 11, 1973. <br />STREET LIGHTS APPROVED <br />Upon the recommendation of the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting the <br />following installation of, street lights were approved: Oak Park Drive <br />east of Oak Ridge and at the alley paralleling and east of Portage <br />at its intersections with Hudson Street, Yukon Street, Vassar Avenue <br />and Golden Avenue. These are 7,000 MV OH, WP lights. <br />
