387 1 t, e--I Lf� 1 7/24/72 PERMISSION TO CLOSE WEST WASHINGTON STREET - YOUTH ADVOCACY PROGRAM Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the approval of the Board was granted to the Youth Advocacy Program to hold a concert on Sunday,. July 30, 1972 and close West Washington Street.from Camden Street to Falcon Street. This was on the recommendation of the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting. PERMISSION TO REMOVE RAILROAD AUTOMATIC CROSSING GATES Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board approved the rec- ommendation of the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting to permit the Chicago, South Shore and South Bend Railroad to remove crossing gates at Birdsell Street and at Walnut Street provided (1) Trains approaching these intersections come to a full stop, and (2) A flagman enter the intersection to warn motorists of the approach- ing train. PERMISSION TO CLOSE SUNNYMEDE - BLOCK PARTY A request was received from Mrs. Steve McNally to close Sunnymede Avenue from SunnysiK:de to Twyckenham Drive was, upon motion made, seconded and carried, referred to the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting for study and report. CONTINUATION CERTIFICATES - EMMETT K. TROYER, CARL J. REINKE_& SONS Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the continuation of Emmett K. Troyer's Contractor's Bond was continued to August 29, 1973 and Cart J. Reinke & Sons' Contractor's Bond was continued to August 4, 1973. PERMISSION TO CANCEL BOND - LEON H. MARTIN A letter requesting permission to cancel a Contractor's bond for Leon H. Martin was received by the Board. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, .the bond was referred to the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting and the Bureau of Buildings for investigation and report. STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORTS Street light outage reports were apporoved for the period from 7/6/72 to 7/20/72. There being motion made, 11:00 A.M. no further business to come before the Board, upon seconded and carried the meeting was adjourned at ATTEST: Clerk
