3: 6i 1, ,- <br />6/12/72 <br />The collision report for the Month of May, 1972 for the Police Department, <br />was presented and ordered filed. <br />BUILDING DEPARTMENT - SUB STANDARDS DIVISION <br />Mr. Richard Liszewski, Sub -Standards Director, appeared before the Board and <br />the following matters were discussed: <br />1631 S. Franklin Street Mr. Liszewski informed the Board that Mr. Miskin, <br />the owner, is having the structure on the property at 1631 South Franklin <br />Street demolished. The Board directed that Mr. Liszewski check to see <br />the structure is demolished by June 26, 1972. <br />Mr. Liszewski asked permission to bring owners of the following property <br />before the Board to show cause why their structures should not be demol- <br />ished: <br />2108 West Linden Avenue Mary & Clementine Klota <br />1214 Whiteman Court Eldon Gard <br />606 East Pennsylvania Leon & Fanchon Eshenbaugh <br />608 East Pennsylvania Karl Dubai] & Mary Dubail Bande <br />2-2 East Keasey Street Marietta Lippens <br />e—) 319 South St. Peter Street Hazel D. Ullery & Betty Nuner <br />LIB <br />832 East Indiana Avenue This matter having been continued to this date, <br />Mr. Liszewski now asked for permission to seek bids on the demolition <br />of the structure at 832 East Indiana Avenue. The Board, upon motion <br />made, seconded and carried, authorized Mr. Liszewski to seek bids for <br />the demolition. <br />3001 Western Avenue Mr. Arthur Lange], 4403 Ouron Circle, owner of the <br />structure at 3001 Western Avenue, app eared before the Board to protest <br />the demolition of the structure. He said he would refuse to let it be <br />torn down. After a full discussion, upon motion made, seconded and <br />carried the Board directed Mr. Liszewski to seek bids for the demolition <br />of the structure at 3001 Western Avenue. <br />712-714-715 Marietta Street -James E. Kushto, Guardian for Lott]e J. <br />King, not having appeared before the Board to show cause why the structures <br />at 712, 714 and 715 Marietta Street should not be demolished, the Board <br />now instructs Mr. Liszewski to seek bids for the demolition of the above <br />structures. <br />2112 Rogers Street No action having been taken by the Model Cities <br />Program, and numerous complaints having been received about the condition <br />of the structure at 2112 Rogers Street, Mr. Liszewski was instructed <br />to contact the Model Cities Group and report back at the June 26th <br />meeting. <br />237 East Paris Street This being the date set, bids were received for <br />the demolition of the structure at 237 East Paris Street. Non -collusion <br />affidavits were found to be in order, and the bids were as follows: <br />O'Neal Trucking Company $675.00 <br />Machinery Supply Co. 875.00 <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the bid was awarded to the O'Neal <br />Trucking Company on its low bid of $675.00. <br />1815 Lincoln Way West Mr. Jack O"Connell, from ACTION appeared before the <br />Board to complain about a building at 1815 Lincoln Way West. Upon motion <br />made, seconded and carried, the Board directed Mr. Liszewski to investigate <br />the complaint and report to the Board on June 26th. <br />ACTION TO MOVE FROM #5 FIRE STATION <br />Mr. O'Connell informed the Board that ACTION, Inc., would be moving from <br />#5 Fire Station by the end of the month. <br />
