5/30/72 Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the matter was referred to the Bureau of Traffic for investigation and report. APPROVAL -;OF TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES - PARKING METERS Upon motion made, seconded and carried, additional parking meters were approved to be installed at the following locations: 300 block South Michigan Street, east side of street, south of Wayne Street - 8 parking meters. 100 West Wayne, add 7 parking meters and remove 2 parking meters for public library drop box on south side of Wayne i parking metter on 300 block West Wayne Street Remove one parking meter in 200 block West Wayne These installations were made possible because of Wayne Street -becoming a one way street. LETTER TO STATE HIGHWAY COMMISSION DESIGNATING PROJECT ENGINEER Letters were approved to be sent to the Chief Highway Engineer of the State Highway Commission designating William J. Richardson, P.E. as Project Engineer for the construction of project TOPICS T-6000 (6) and R&S-46 and Kenneth Herceg as overall supervisor of the project. LEASE BETWEEN CITY OF SOUTH BEND AND REDEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT Upon motion made, seconded and carried, a lease was approved between the City of South Bend and the Department of Redevelopment for 'the city to lease Lots 59, 60 and 61 as shown on the Original Plat of the Town, now City of South Bend, more commonly known as 202-220 East Jefferson Boule- vard, for the purposes of parking. PETITION FOR STREET LIGHT - RENFREW COURT A petition was received, containing fifteen signatures, asking for the installation -of a street light in the middle of Renfrew Court. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, this was referred to the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting. CONTRACTOR'S BOND AND VERIFICATION CERTIFICATE A Contractor's Bond was approved for David Kollar d/b/a Dave Kollar Plumb- ing and Heating to 5/30/73 and Gilbert Harwell to 4/30/72. A bond was released for Sam Doi as of 5/7/72 STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORT Street light outage reports were ordered filed for 5/18/72 to 5/25/72.
