263 <br />I <br />1 <br />4/3/72 <br />PROCEDURE FOR DISPOSITION OF ABANDONED VEHICLES <br />Mr. Sweeney Informed the Board there is a statute which allows the <br />Board of Public Works and Safety to contract with a private towing <br />firm for the removal -and storage of junked automobiles, and also <br />to set up an appraisal board composed of the City Controller and <br />the Chairman of the Board of Public Works and Safety. The Legal <br />Department Is to draw up a resolution to implement this act. <br />CONTRAC70RIS BONDS <br />Contractor's Binds were approved for the following: <br />Christian Wambach to April 6, 1973 <br />Robert L. Jankowski to April 3, 1973 <br />EXCAVATION BOND: <br />A continuation of an Excavation Bond was approved for Parkway Asphalt, Inc., <br />to Oecember 31, 1972 <br />STREET LIGHTS AND TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICE <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried modernization of a residential <br />area bounded by Western, Albert, Sample and Lombardy was directed by <br />the installation of the following: <br />A installations: <br />4 20,000 MV OH WP 05.50 unit/mo <br />8 20,000 MV OH WP @ 5.35 unit/mo <br />23 7,0001.
