20 7 <br />2/14/72 <br />BUILDING DEPARTMENT - HOUSE MOVING NORTH OLIVE STREET <br />Mr. Forrest West, Building Commissioner, appeared before the Board and <br />presented a letter from Mrs. Eleanor A. Guess, 1857 North Olive Street, <br />who states she is in favor of moving the structure from 709 North Olive <br />Street to 1849 North Olive Street. <br />The Board informed Mr. West that they had not had the opportunity to <br />view the house in question and continued the matter until the next <br />meeting, Mrs. Dovie Bryant, who was also present, was given this information. <br />SUB -STANDARD DIVISION <br />Richard Liszewski, Sub -Standards Director, appeared before the Board and <br />the following matters were discussed. <br />DEMOLITION BIDS OPENED <br />423 Kosciuszko Street <br />B. & J. Demolition Co. $435.00 <br />+ Waimco 458.00 <br />e--i Midwest Demolition Co. 431.00 <br />Machinery Supply Co. 325.00 <br />O'Neal Trucking Co. 585.00 <br />Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, contract for the <br />demolition of the structure at 423 Kosciuszko Street was awarded to <br />Machinery Supply Company on its low bid of $325.00. <br />1125 Bissell Street <br />O'Neal Trucking $488.00 <br />Midwest Demolition 460.00 <br />B & J Demolition 365.00 <br />Waimco 534.00 <br />Machinery Supply Co. 345.00 <br />Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, contract for the <br />demolition of the structure at 1125 East Bissell Street was awarded <br />to Machinery Supply Company on its low bid of $345.00. <br />1613 Leer Street <br />B & J Demolition $515.00 <br />O'Neal Trucking 735.00 <br />Machinery Supply Co. 560.00 <br />Midwest Demolition Co. 887.00 <br />Waimco 634.00 <br />Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, contract for the <br />demolition of the structure at 1613 S. Leer Street was awarded to <br />B & J Demolition Company on .its low bid of $5I5.00. <br />Mrs. Lot€ie King appeared before the Board to protest the demolition of <br />the structure at 1613 S. Leer Street, but as a letter was received from <br />her attorney stating that the estate was not interested in making any <br />repairs and that it was to the best interest of the estate to have it <br />demolished, the Board suggested she talk to the attorney who is also <br />her guardian. <br />827 S. Rush Street <br />O'Neal Trucking Company $575.00 <br />Machinery Supply Company 525.00 <br />Midwest Demolition Company 605.00 <br />Waimco 587.00 <br />B & J Demolition Company 485.00 <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried the contact for the demolition <br />of the structure at 827 S. Rush Street was awarded to B & J Demolition <br />Company on its low bid of $485.00. <br />
