19 <br />2/7/72 <br />SUB STANDARDS DIVISION - BUILDING DEPARTMENT <br />Richard Liszewski, Sub -Standards Director, appeared before the Board and <br />the following matters were discussed: <br />DEMOLITION BIDS OPENED: <br />133-135 S. Laurel Street <br />Machinery Supply Company $1,000.00 <br />O'Neal Trucking Company 925.00 <br />Midwest Demolition Company 895.00 <br />Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried contract for the <br />demolition of the structure at 133-135 South Laurel Street was awarded <br />to Midwest Demolition Company on its low bid of $895.00 <br />1525 South Catalpa Street; <br />Machinery Supply Company $ 299.50 <br />O'Neal Trucking Company 418.00 <br />Midwest Demolition Company 383.00 <br />Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried contract for the <br />demolition of the structure at 1525 South Catalpa Street was awarded <br />to Machinery Supply Company on its, low bid of $299.50. <br />702 East Keasey Street <br />Machinery Supply Company $ 499.50 <br />O'Neal Trucking Company 435.00 <br />Midwest Demolition Company 465.00 <br />Uponmotionmade, seconded and unanimously carried contract for the <br />demolition of the structure at 7C2 East Kea_sey Street was awarded <br />to O'Neal Trucking Company on its low bid of $435.00 <br />1813 Robinson Street <br />Machinery Supply Company $ 325.00 <br />O'Neal Trucking Company 300.00 <br />Midwest Demolition Company 297.00 <br />Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried contract for the <br />demolition of the structure at 1813 Robinson Street was awarded to <br />Midwest Demolition Company on its low bid of $297.00 <br />717 South Clinton Street <br />Mr. Harold Cook, representing the estate if Bert M. Dudley, appeared to <br />state the structure mentioned above had been damaged by fire and the <br />Insurance Company has not made a settlement as yet. He asked for a <br />continuation until he had contacted the Insurance Company. Mr. Lisewzki <br />requested that he bring the matter up at the next meeting, and the matter <br />of the sub -standard condition of 717 South Clinton Street was continued <br />for two weeks. <br />736 North Frances Street <br />Mr. Wallace Mitchell having been requested to appear before the Board <br />on February 7, 1972 to.show progress with reference to therehabilitation <br />of the structure at 736 North Frances Street, and Mr. Wallace not having <br />appeared before the Board, he 'is now directed to appear before the Board <br />on February 22, 1972 with pictures showing the improvements to the <br />structure and a schedule showing progress of the rehabilitation. Mr. <br />Liszewski reported that Mr. Mitchell was in the Building Department of the <br />County City Building on this date, but did not appear at the meeting. <br />1 <br />
