19 2/7/72 SUB STANDARDS DIVISION - BUILDING DEPARTMENT Richard Liszewski, Sub -Standards Director, appeared before the Board and the following matters were discussed: DEMOLITION BIDS OPENED: 133-135 S. Laurel Street Machinery Supply Company $1,000.00 O'Neal Trucking Company 925.00 Midwest Demolition Company 895.00 Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried contract for the demolition of the structure at 133-135 South Laurel Street was awarded to Midwest Demolition Company on its low bid of $895.00 1525 South Catalpa Street; Machinery Supply Company $ 299.50 O'Neal Trucking Company 418.00 Midwest Demolition Company 383.00 Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried contract for the demolition of the structure at 1525 South Catalpa Street was awarded to Machinery Supply Company on its, low bid of $299.50. 702 East Keasey Street Machinery Supply Company $ 499.50 O'Neal Trucking Company 435.00 Midwest Demolition Company 465.00 Uponmotionmade, seconded and unanimously carried contract for the demolition of the structure at 7C2 East Kea_sey Street was awarded to O'Neal Trucking Company on its low bid of $435.00 1813 Robinson Street Machinery Supply Company $ 325.00 O'Neal Trucking Company 300.00 Midwest Demolition Company 297.00 Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried contract for the demolition of the structure at 1813 Robinson Street was awarded to Midwest Demolition Company on its low bid of $297.00 717 South Clinton Street Mr. Harold Cook, representing the estate if Bert M. Dudley, appeared to state the structure mentioned above had been damaged by fire and the Insurance Company has not made a settlement as yet. He asked for a continuation until he had contacted the Insurance Company. Mr. Lisewzki requested that he bring the matter up at the next meeting, and the matter of the sub -standard condition of 717 South Clinton Street was continued for two weeks. 736 North Frances Street Mr. Wallace Mitchell having been requested to appear before the Board on February 7, 1972 to.show progress with reference to therehabilitation of the structure at 736 North Frances Street, and Mr. Wallace not having appeared before the Board, he 'is now directed to appear before the Board on February 22, 1972 with pictures showing the improvements to the structure and a schedule showing progress of the rehabilitation. Mr. Liszewski reported that Mr. Mitchell was in the Building Department of the County City Building on this date, but did not appear at the meeting. 1
