Seals <br />Chief of Police <br />RWS/mm <br />Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried the Board approved the above <br />promotions and demotions in the South Bend Police Department <br />Chief Seals requested that Divisional Chief Loren M. Bussert be granted <br />permission to attend the first National Symposium on Police Ethical <br />Practice to be held in St. Louis, Mo., on January 7 and 8, 1972. This <br />symposium is being sponsored by Law Enforcement Association on Professional <br />Standards Education and Ethical Practice. It was requested that the expenses <br />be born by the city for his attendance. <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried the above request was granted. <br />SPECIAL POLICE COMMISSION - CECIL MCHENRY <br />Cecil McHenry having turned in his special Police Badge #622 his <br />commission is terminated as of December 30, 1971. <br />BUILDING DEPARTMENT - SUB -STANDARD DIVISION <br />Richard Liszewski, Sub -Standards Director, appeard before the Board and <br />the following matters were taken up: <br />
