112 <br />10/26/71 <br />Upon.motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, contract for demolition of <br />the structure at 122 S. Laurel Street was awarded to Machinery Supply Company <br />on its low bid of $525.00. <br />1350 E. Sorin Street. Mr. Liszewski reported receiving a telephone message <br />from attorney Thomas H. Singer asking a delay pending an insurance settlement, <br />and reported the property secured. <br />Machinery Supply Co., Inc. $305.00 <br />B & L Demolition Co. $490:00 <br />Midwest Demolition Co. $535.00 <br />O'Neal Trucking Co. . $450.00 <br />It was moved, seconded: and unanimously carried that contract for demolition <br />of the structure at 1350 E. Sorin Street be awarded to Machinery Supply <br />Company, Inc., on its low bid of $305.00 but that demolition of the structure <br />be held up for three weeks. <br />1114 S. Main Street. <br />O'Neal Trucking Company $598.00 <br />Machinery Supply Company, Inc. $400.00 <br />Midwest Demolition Co. $710:00 <br />B & J Demolition Co. $495.00 <br />Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried; contract for demolition of <br />the structure at 1114 S. Main Street was awarded to Machinery Supply Company, <br />Inc., on its low bid of $400.00. <br />321 S. Laurel Street. Mr. Liszewski reported the owner may wish to demolish <br />this structure and asks a delay. <br />Machinery Supply Company $160.00 <br />B & J Demolition Company $18000 <br />Midwest Demolition Co. $285.00 <br />O'Neal Trucking Co. $235.00 <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, award of contract for demolition of <br />the structure at 321 S. Laurel Street was postponed four weeks. <br />1048 LaSalle Court. Mr. Liszewski reported this structure now secured and <br />asks postponement of demolition. <br />Machiner Supply Co. $495.00 <br />B & J Demolition Company $619.00 <br />Midwest Demolition Co. $535.00 <br />O'Neal Trucking Co. $527.00 <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, award of contract for demolition of <br />the structure at 1048 LaSalle Court was postponed four weeks for the owner <br />to determine whether or not to rehabilitate the structure. <br />758 Lincolnway East. <br />Machinery Supply Company $525.00 <br />B & J Demolition Co. $648.00 <br />Midwest Demolition Co. $735.00 <br />O'Neal Trucking Co. $527.00 <br />Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, contract for demolition <br />of the structure at 758 Lincolnway East was awarded to O'Neal Trucking Company <br />on its bid of $527.00. <br />REQUEST TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR 1972 MOTOR VEHICLES <br />Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the request of the <br />Engineering Department for permission to advertise for bids for 1972 motor <br />vehicles for various Departments was approved. And the Clerk was directed to <br />give notice by publication in the South Bend Tribune and the Tri County News <br />on October2 9 and Noember 5, 1971, for bids to be received on November 29, 1971. <br />
