91 9/27/71 VACATION RESOLUTION NO. 3302 RESCINDED - GATES CHEVROLET CORPORATION Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, Vacation Resolution No. 3302, 1969, for the vacation of Franklin Street, from Western Avenue to Wayne Street, was rescinded. AREA PLAN RECOMMENDATION ADOPTION OF VACATION RESOLUTION NO. 3347, 1971 - BENEDICT J. BARCZYKOWSKI Area Plan Commission files with the Board its recommendation for the vacation of the first east -west alley north of Huron Street, from the west line of Carlisle Street west to the east line of the first northsouth alley. Thereupon, the following resolution was adopted: "VACATION RESOLUTION NO. 3347, 1971 RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND SAFETY OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, That it is desirable to vacate the follow- ing: r� The first east -west alley north of Huron Street from the west line of Carlisle Street west to the east line of the first north -south alley. "Reserving the rights and easements of all utilities and the Municipal City of South Bend, Indiana, to construct and maintain any facilities, including, but not limited to, the following: electric, telephone, gas, water, sewer, surface water control structures and ditches, within the vacated right of way, unless such rights are released by the individual Utilities. "The following property may be injuriously or beneficially affected by such vacation: Lots numbered 312 through 322 and lots numbered 340 through 350 all in the Second Plan Summit Place Addition. "Notice of this Resolution shall be published on the 1st day of October and the 8th day of October, 1971, in the South Bend Tribune and the Tri County News. "This Board, at its office, on the 12th day of October, 1971, at 9:30 o'clock, A.M., will hear and receive re- monstrances from all persons interested in or affected by these proceedings. AREA PLAN RECOMMENDATION ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION NO. 3348, 1971 FOR OPENING OF STREET - NORTH SHORE WOODS ONE Area Plan Commission files with the Board its favorable recommendation for the extension of North Shore Drive from its existing termination point at the south railroad right of way line of the St. Joseph Valley Railroad Company, now Michigan Central Railroad and/o r Michigan Airline Railroad Company, Penn Central Transportation Company, lessee, to the north line of such railroad right of way. Thereupon, the motion was made, seconded and unanimously carried for the adoption of the following resolution:
