22, 6/28/71 Upon motion made, seconded and carried, contract for the demolition of the structure at 1410 Portage Avenue was awarded to Midwest Demolition Company on its low bid of $865.00. REQUEST TO DEMOLISH STREETS AND ALLEYS - DEPARTMENT OF REDEVELOPMENT The Department of Redevelopment files with the Board is request for.permission to demolish streets and alleys as follows: Carroll Street - Lincolnway East to E. Wayne; E. Wayne to Western. S. St. Joseph - E. Wayne south to E. Western, E. Wayne - S. St. Joseph east to Carroll. E. Spencer - S. Michigan to S. St. Joseph. E. Western Avenue - all surfaces (except .railroad tracks and ties) to include intersections S. Michigan'to S. Fellows Street. Alley - East to Lincolnway from Carroll, between Lincolnway East and E. Wayne. Alley - East -west, between E.'Wayne and E. Western Avenue, from S. St. Joseph Street to the north -south alley east of.Carroll Street.' Alley - East -west, to S. Carroll Street. Alley - North=south, from E.•Wayne Street. Alley - Northrsouth, running south to E. Western. Ugon motion made, seconded and carried, the request was referred to the Engineering Department for review and recommendation. AMENDED ASSESSMENT ROLL FILED - ION NO. 3337 AMENDED - DE - Lloyd S. Taylor, City Engineer, files amended assessment roll showing award of damages and assessment of benefits in Vacation Resolution No. 3337, 1971, as amended June 7, 1971, said assessment roll being amended to include the following language: "Ail portions of streets and alleys located within the real estate described as follows" Upon motion made, seconded and carried, said 'amended assessment roll was adopted and the Clerk was directed to give notice of hearing on July 26, 1971 by publication in the South Bend Tribune and the Tri County News on July 2, July 9 and July 16, 1971.
