Taylor moved that the street plans and storm sewer plans for South- <br />east Estates, Colonial Lane, be approved. The motion was seconded and <br />unanimously carried. <br />IN -KIND RENT VOUCHERS FOR JUNE - A.C.T.I.O.N., INC. <br />In -kind rent vouchers for Fire Stations #5, #7 and #8 for the month of June, <br />1971, were ordered filed. <br />WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT - ANNUAL REPORT FOR 1970 <br />Annual report for 1970 submitted by the Wastewater Treatment Plant was reviewed <br />and ordered filed. <br />SHRINE PARADE 6/12/71 <br />Copy Sf tdtter in reference to the Shrine Parade on June 12, 1971, was <br />reviewed and ordered filed. <br />COMPLAINT - MRS. CLARA NOWICKI <br />Mrs. Clara Nowicki, 1410 W. Ford Street, South Bend, Indiana, appeared before <br />the Board and complained of a truck parked in the rear of 1408 W. Ford Street <br />next to her garage and requested that it be removed under the ordinance <br />governing abandoned vehicles. Mrs. Nowicki was advised the matter would be <br />looked into, although the vehicle would not be considered abandoned if the <br />owner objects to its removal. <br />CLOSING OF RAILROAD CROSSINGS - PENN CENTRAL RAILROAD <br />-Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the recommendation of the Engineering <br />Department for vacating portions of Vernon and Caroline Streets that cross <br />the Penn Central Railroad main lines was referred to the Area Plan Commission <br />for study and recommendation. <br />REQUEST TO BLOCK CAMPEAU STREET <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board approved the request of <br />Joseph Warnell, 1115 E. Campeau Street, South Bend, Indiana, to close - <br />Campeau Street, from Eddy to Jacobs Street from 11:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. <br />on Sa turday, June--12, 1971 for a bicycle rade and parade by the East Side <br />Boys Club. <br />REQUEST TO HOLD TENT MEETINGS - HOLINESS CHURCH OF GOD IN CHRIST <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board approved the request of <br />Rev. Henry Underwood, 242 Sadie Street, South Bend, Indiana, for the Holiness <br />Church of God in Christ to hold tent meetings in the vacant lot adjacent to <br />242 N. Sadie Street from July 1 to August 1, 1971, subject to the regulations <br />of the Fire Prevention Bureau. <br />
