Z <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />DECEMBER 10, 1973 <br />A. 1250 GPM Pumper, to Michiana Mack on their low bid of $40,865.00. <br />B. 1500 Gallon Tanker, to Midwest Fire and S fety Equipment Company <br />on their low bid of $17,967.56. <br />C. Rescue Vehicle, to American Fire Apparatu Company on their low bid of <br />$24,255.00. <br />Chief Bland noted that all bids meet all specifica ions. Upon motion made, <br />seconded and carried, the Board awarded the contra is as recommended by <br />Chief Bland. Mr. Gene Evans, Civic Planning Assoc ation, asked about the <br />shortage between the funds transferred and the tot l amount of bids awarded <br />and Chief Bland explained that there was a $2000 t ade-in allowance which <br />would make up the difference. <br />IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 3382 1973 CONFIRMED AND ESTIMATES AUTHORIZED <br />The Board received a letter from the Bureau of Des gn and Administration <br />regarding written comments from residents of the M adowview Subdivision <br />concerning the proposal to construct a Barrett Law sewer. Of the 57 affected <br />property owners, nine opposed the sewer, 23 supported the installation and <br />25 did not respond. The response received represetits a 2 to 1 majority in <br />favor of the proposal. Based on the survey and the need, the Bureau recommended <br />that the Improvement Resolution be confirmed -and that the Engineer be directed <br />to prepare final plans and cost estimates. Upon motion made, seconded and <br />carried, Improvement Resolution No. 3382, 1973 is hereby confirmed and the <br />improvement is hereby ordered to be made.
