REGULAR MEETING DECEMBER 3, 1973 <br />EXCAVATION BOND FOR ASPHALT ENGINEERS, INC. TO 12/31174 <br />Excavation Bond for Donald D. White to 12/1/74 <br />Excavation Bond for Orra S. Frame & Son to 12/31/74 <br />Contractor's Bond for Robert V. Batteast to 12/31/73 <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board approved the bonds to the <br />dates stated above. <br />APPROVAL OF TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES <br />The Bureau of Traffic and Lighting made the following recommendations for <br />installation of traffic control devices: <br />A. Removal of 12 parking meters and installation of "No Parking Except <br />Sunday" signs, West side of 300 N. Main Street. Upon motion made, <br />seconded and carried, the installation and removal were approved. <br />B. Removal of eight parking meters, east side of the north z block of <br />400 N. Michigan Street. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, <br />the removal was approved. <br />G <br />�. C. Installation of No Parking Signs, East side of the north '—z block <br />Q of 400 N. Michigan Street. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, <br />the installation was approved. <br />D. Installation of 6 parking meters, south half of the west side of <br />300 N. Michigan Street, 3 15 minute meters and 3 one hour meters. <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the installation was approved. <br />E. Installation of 22 parking meters, 200 block South Williams Street. ' <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the installation was approved. <br />F. Installation of No Parking Signs, East side of 800 S. Main Street from <br />Sample Street to a point 132' north of Sample. Upon motion made, <br />seconded and carried, the installation was approved. <br />G. Installation of No Parking signs, both sides of Chippewa from a point <br />150' west of Main Street to Michigan. Upon motion made, seconded and <br />carried, the installation was approved. <br />STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORT <br />The Street Light Outage Report for the period of November 14 through November <br />28, 1973 was received and ordered filed. <br />PROJECT CHANGE ORDERS - PROJECT CS-4. NORTHEAST STORM SEWERS <br />The Board received change orders for Project CS-4, Northeast Storm Sewers as <br />follows: <br />A. Change Order No. I - Increase - $13,251.00. Mr. Patrick McMahon, Manager <br />of the Bureau of Public Construction, explained to the Board that this <br />resulted from the necessity of relocating sanitary sewers. Upon motion <br />made, seconded and carried, the Board approved the Change Order. <br />B. Change Order No. 2 - Decrease - $4,233.00. Mr. McMahon explained that this <br />was adjustment of the contract to as -built quantities. Upon motion made, <br />seconded and carried, the Board approved the Change Order. <br />
